Game: D&D 5e Group type:Online on Roll20 (Click for Details) Experience: Any experience with 5e is welcome, though knowledge of the Dragon Age games will help you enjoy the setting. Our meet-and-greet/character building session (i.e. Session 0) will be on March 16th. Roles sought: 3 players. Game style:
Hi! My name is Aaron, and I am looking for 2-3 more players for a Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition campaign set in the world of Dragon Age. While extensive knowledge of the setting isn't required, it will definitely be more enjoyable if you've come in knowing a little of what's going on. This introductory arc will be a 5th edition conversion of one of the Blood in Ferelden modules, published by Green Ronin. I prefer that the players have not read these modules beforehand. The focus will be primarily on Role Playing, and building a story, though there will be Combat and a little bit of Exploration thrown in there for good measure.
Details on how the conversion will be made can be found in the information thread pinned on the Roll20 listing (linked above). I am shooting to have games last between 3-5 hours, depending on schedules and interest, and will shoot to run bi-weekly on Sundays. We will be using Discord for voice communication, and for messaging and/or written RP posts (depending on interest) between session. If you'd like to apply, please follow the instructions located in the linked listing.
Thanks for your interest! We'll be conducting the game through Roll20, using Discord as our means of communication, so you'll want to make sure you have accounts for both of those. Additionally, just read through the listing on Roll20, along with the stickied post, and after you send me a PM on there, we can talk more.
As the games themselves have an M rating, and delve into some fairly difficult topics, you'll need to at least be 18 for me to even consider you. I'll shy away from folks that young, though, and prefer a slightly older crowd. I'm not going to card you, or anything like that, but please keep that in mind.
Oh yes, that would be much too late. The sessions are planned to begin at 10:00 AM CDT. That time is pretty set at this point. It will be a Morning/Afternoon session for folks in the U.S.
Hi! Im very interested and would love to take part! Im not well versed in the setting, but Im entirely ignorant of the module and thus its all fresh and exciting! If youve still got space for me, Id be thrilled to join.
Just an update for this thread that I'm pushing the final date for submissions back a bit, to Friday, 3/15! Feel free to keep submitting those applications, I'm definitely still looking for folks.
Thanks to everyone for the outpouring of support and interest for this campaign! I'm actually closing submissions now due to the number that I received today, and want to have the time to talk with some of the applicants individually.
Hey, could you point me to the conversion you used for this?
