Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: New to D&D Location/Timezone: Baltimore MD, EST Availability: Any day of the week except Wednesdays. 4pm or later. Preferred role: Player. Game style: I'd love a balanced game between exploration, roleplay, and combat. But they are listed from most to least preferred. I'm a long-time fantasy nerd who is cool with themes ranging from Tolkien to Adventure Time.
I'm a newer player looking to find a solid (module, campaign) group for the summer and beyond. I've got the general rules down and I understand the flow of gameplay, but I want more experience with more of the game mechanics that I haven't run into yet as a fresh DM. I'm an art teacher so I'm all about that multiple gaming styles, working well with others, and constant improvement/learning.
I'm super flexible about times, and happy to use whatever platform the DM is best with. I've used discord a little, theatre of the mind voice, and personally I use Roll20 for a group of other newbies I'm learning to DM for (LMoP ftw).
I'm serious about finding a consistent group that work well together. I see it as a team sport where everyone has a responsibility to at least communicate effectively. I don't have a problem with paid games either as long as it feels like I'm getting what I paid for.
Hit me up if you think you've got a group I'd fit with, I'm good to start playing asap.
