Welcome to the world of Edyn! What is Edyn? Well Edyn is a story driven, flavor packed world full of magic, adventure, danger and fun.
Edyn is a small and close knit Discord operated 24/7 roleplaying server that is revolved around DnD, we also use DnD Beyond as our reference for character creation and all materials we need.
In this world/server you as a player will be able to create an avatar and live your life as you see fit. Once you've created your character following the servers guidelines, you will start off in one of the eight different cities located in Edyn where you will begin your adventure! This is an open world concept so players are free to explore at their leisure, there are no set CR limits for areas, encounters will be scaled to the PCs involved.
Dungeons and Dragons is a complicated game with a lot of rules. We are looking for additional Dungeon Masters who are familiar with, and who can reference, the rules so they can design encounters with the right level of difficulty for the players and referee the game as it’s being played.
You can spend as much or as little time here, if you can only spare a few hours day or a few hours week it's not a problem. Roleplay is key in this server and it is heavily driven on that.

Seems like a interesting and different concept from other worlds/servers for dnd iv seen and developed chars along side with interested in seeing how it operates and spend some time within it.
id definitely like a discord link when possible. id love to join. what sort of restrictions do you have as far as characters? does anything go? i had an idea of a dragon who hides himself as a human and under any circumstances never reveals himself even when in danger. he fears frightening others. i have another character a reformed cultist with the slime bloodline trait. it was a cruel trick from his master after he tried to steal some magical tomes. he ran into a gelatinous cube and the magic books fused them together and now every time something bad happens to him he mutters under his breath "damn cultists". sounds like a grumpy old man lol
