Experience: Familiar with D&D overall as both player and DM; somewhat new to (5e) as I've not had the opportunity to play much unfortunately (a reality I seek to change LOL).
Location/Timezone: Any U.S. Time Zone is doable for me.
Availability: Flexible.
Preferred role: Player.
Game Style: Casual/For Enjoyment/For The Love Of D&D.
Deal Breakers: Not a fan of the rules lawyering of any edition by players or DMs; particularly those who do it to be malignant in nature, attempt to break a game's overall flow/enjoyment and/or to benefit their own motivations.
Why The Deal Breakers: Formal/Competitive players and groups exist... and have their place of course... they are just not what I'm seeking to join at this time. Strictly speaking for myself, it's just not personally my idea of a good time; spending large swaths of game time consulting the PHB/DMG etc., to engage in extensive argument and debate over rules, semantics, alignments etc., who would or wouldn't do what etc. Don't get me wrong - I'm a fan of playing with structure (or none in a silly one shot)... but I have zero qualms fully rolling with whatever comes my way both as a player and DM.
What I Seek From Group: I'm generally looking to join a group of individuals who play regularly (at least once per week) and who also value fun, adventure and seek to enjoy the game for what it is (imagination/fantasy/RPG). I would most enjoy a group working through the official campaigns but also am down with enjoying the occasional homebrew if the DM seeks to dabble and diversify from time to time.
D&D Credo:I firmly believe:"...It's supposed to be fun people! Canon vs. deviation as it relates to anything in game... a dynamic Player or DM can roll with either... as the sole goal should be for everyone to just have some memorable fun... so that we all can come back and want to do it again™... "

Do you have discord and a decent mic?: y
are you ok with teaching if need be?: ok
experience as a DM?: 1984
Favourite thing about DND?: developing imaginative unpredictable stories with characters as heroes.
what do you like to do/ what are your hobbies?: developing content, teaching French
What kind of game will you be running?: sand desert with Low Politics, Medium to High Roleplay, Low Combat, Medium Magic, Medium Lethality. I prepared 437p of extension of the famous module "Pharaoh". This is linked to “Against the cult of the reptile god, Temple of elemental evil, Ravenloft." If you already know these modules, you can participate with restrictions. This is 140h long, online. It took us 2 months to reach 80h, so this is a long term commitment. There is also Pharaoh #2, “The oasis of white palm” and #3 “The lost tomb of Martek”. There are links and hooks to at least 40 other modules.
Last misdeeds: encouraged player to charge at an uncooperative door; detailed finger collection obsession; assigned 4 curses on the same character; tried unsuccessfully to vacuum clean a team; had a paladin team up with 3 convicts, later kill 2 of them then rob an artefact for “safe keeping”; haunted heads with baboon screams; entombed a character into a wall hieroglyph (2D); crushed a whole party (TPK) with walls; had 3 lions and 20 hyenas to eat 2 adventurers loafing around in a sand desert; bestowed a plate mail on a warlock; condemned a character to perpetual disagreement; successfully enticed a character to jump into a random dimensional gate; gassed a whole party, triggering a PvP fight where a mummified character died against a lizardman; cursed a character with Khepri avatar.
Last good deeds: revived a character who played perfectly the doppelganger who ate him (and others), had a door declare its emotional attachment to a Cthulhu worshiper, distributed 22 magic items in 80h; revived a character into his own shield; used a 3cm high collection of 8 Egyptian Gods to help a yuan-ti enter into the adventure; helped players develop character background and quests
