D&D Beyond
This campaigns mostly for new player's to play and few expirence. We have mostly all female cast of player's currently.
Hey so our last DND Session we just had a special session where we played for 8 hours because we were not gonna play this upcoming weekend. We normally play for 3-4 hours but decided to finish the dungeon crawl we had in store that Session. It was a super role play heavy dungeon crawl with minor combat.
The party has just reached level 4 and have a session of downtime. Currently the party is in the shadowfell and having assistance from the raven queen. They rest in her stronghold. We have mostly 6 players who are playing
-barbarian/ centaur
-rogue/ human
-cleric/ aasimar
-druid/ tiefling
-ranger/ halfing
-monk/paladin multi class/ air genasi.
We also are not playing this weekend because it is 4th of July weekend.

ok so 1-16 is fine by me im a guy who was looking for a game to go with my 300 others im over exsadurating of coarse but ive been looking for a sunday game and yes i do have dice but due to my luck being abysmal i prefer not to use them #mydicenolikeme:(
my only condition to leaving is if i feel the group is falling apart also i have a shell of a character which still needs a good back story if you wanna work on that

Percy- I'm pretty experienced with discord, id be fine with video calling but its not something i would prefer, especially since i can only video call on my phone

Percy- im fine playing any and all races! for class, i prefer casters, not super fond of melee but ill play a melee class if needed. i tend to like wizards, warlocks, sorcerers and the like, but i also like to be diverse. for the most part i pick what interests me and makes for an interesting character that i can create a good story with
Doll - I’m very diverse in my race choices, i like playing many different ones and as a result have a plethora of characters. Class wise, I also liked to dip my hand into all the honey pots i can, but I usually will go for whatever the group is in need of and make do with it. I have most experience playing cleric, and it is a prefered class, but I also very much enjoy playing wizards and warlocks.

Percy- i draw and write from time to time but for the most part is just enjoy making characters and stories with others. dnd is my main hobby/interest and i hyperfixate on it frequently, although other fantasy games interest me as well.
Doll - Well, i consider myself kinda artistic. I do digital and traditional art regularly, fantastical and/or horror based ttrpgs/videogames are my jam, i cant live without lots of music, im also interested in nature, witchcraft, urban exploring, things of that nature. c:
17) what do you dislike in a DND campaign and what do you like in a DND campaign?
Percy- i like role playing and making connections with the other pcs and npcs, character interaction and relationships interests me the most.
Doll - i love getting invested in the story and the thrill of combat. A good story and group that will make me genuinely laugh and cry and all those things is all i want tbh.
18) would you be ok if you and I created a character together to fit the narrative and come up with a goal so it fit in the campaign?
Percy- absolutely yes! i very much enjoy creating characters with others and would love to create a narrative with you
Doll - Yea, working on characters together w a dm helps me alot too since its easier to fit them into the story while also making something enjoyable for me to play

I’ve been playing for 6 years now off and on, more recently as a DM. Not sure how many sessions that is, but I haven’t been a player recently and have been missing that aspect.
4. Are you in any other current groups?
Not at the moment. I am discussing whether or not I’d DM for another group, but nothing settled yet. One game as a player and one as a DM is probably the most I'd commit to at once.
5. What’s your availability?
I’m mostly available Fridays through Sundays from 9am-11pm Mountain time but I could also figure out a regular weekday evening that I’d be free.
6. Can you use discord and play with a camera on, and have a video interview?
Yes to all of the above
7. Are you ok with theatre of the mind play through DND Beyond and Discord only?
Yes don’t mind this at all

Yes, although most of the rulebooks and such I own are in hardcopy form, not on DND Beyond, not sure if that’s an issue.

I’m in Mountain time, so 1 or 2pm CST on Sundays is fine by me.
10. What’s your role play experience?
I’ve been playing D&D for 6 years now, and usually like to create a character with an interesting backstory who interacts with other players and the world in a realistic way. I’ve done a fair bit of Model United Nations (role play with added research!) and did some drama/acting before that, so I’m comfortable with improvising on my feet once I get an idea for the group and what everyone else is interested in doing.
11. What’s your preference for class and race?
I honestly don’t care too much, I’d rather have a character that fits in well with the party and maybe has some shared backstory elements or fits a gap of what is needed.
I’ve played fighter, ranger, wizard, monk, and sorcerer in the past and races including human, dragonborn, dark elf, hobgoblin, and half-elf, so really not picky. Happy to discuss details to figure out what would work best for this group and story.
12. Do you have dice and are you willing to play using physical dice?
Yes, I actually enjoy playing with real dice more than virtual ones, and have a couple dice sets that don’t appear to be completely cursed.
13. What’s a reason that would make you not attend a session?
Only if an unforeseen emergency comes up (e.g. myself or family in the hospital). Anything else I let my DM know far in advance. I do have a few qualification exams I have to take this year sometime in October and January and would probably need to take a break from sessions a week or two before they occur. I can discuss details if you’d like.
14. Do you mind Homebrew items and rules?
Not at all, I think D&D is more fun with new and creative additions, so long as the DM is willing to adjust things if they are becoming rather unbalanced.
15. Would you be fine if you are an extra person in case someone falls out of the campaign?
Hopefully I’m understanding this question ok, I don’t mind being on deck for a while in case someone else has to drop out. If things seem pretty stable with this group for a month or two and you don't need an extra player to join in, I’d probably want to find another game that I could play in sooner.
16. Anything else I should know about you personally? Hobbies/Interests?
Aside from D&D I tend to be quite interested in a variety of nerdy subjects ranging from history to computers, to Star Wars. I do a lot of hiking and like being outdoors when I can, which if nothing else helps with scenery descriptions as a DM or player! I usually consider being in a group that’s respectful and willing to listen to others to be important, whether that’s friends or a D&D party (often both).
17. What do you dislike in a D&D campaign and what do you like?
I do like a good story with some interesting challenges or moral dilemmas or plot twists and having a group of players that believes in being open-minded and respectful to each other and the DM. Rules debates are probably my main pet peeve. Otherwise, I don’t really have too many likes/dislikes, I’m pretty open when it comes to genres and the balance of combat/role-play etc.
18. Would you be ok if you and I created a character together to fit the narrative and a goal to fit the campaign?
This is definitely my preferred way of creating a character, happy to do so!

17) I like the challenges. It is not just a game of combat but one in which players work to overcome something. That is the fun, the teamwork and story telling. I get a little tired of overpowered players. The game needs to be a fair challenge, and I do not like it when a few superheroes destroy that .

i dislike when a single player tries to heavily thwart or derail DMs i get having mischief and fun but just and i quote, "let me roll to eat a rock" then complaining about taking damage due to a nat 1 is kinda rude.
