i'm19 and wanting to try out playing online D&D as a rogue for a group and try the game out, i'm familiar with how to do some things but a lot of things involving d&d i'm new to, so im hoping i could get a group to help me find me path in trying this whole thing out.
my schedule is Very good so i have plenty of time to hang out and play a campaign.
Every Thursday 10am EDT, i run an introduction at dungeons & dragons. You can ask any question. Really, any question. You can learn the basics. This is a level 1 base. So, for long term-oriented players, even veteran, this is an opportunity to raise from zero a character. If you stay dutifully, this will be the beginning of a 140h long campaign (3 months at least). The players who already did it, 3 months ago, have lived so many adventures. Some got entombed in the hieroglyphics of a wall, some played chess with the pharaoh, some got 7 curses, some shackled themselves on the floor for a ritual, some trained their pet to trip mummies, some blasted their way with fire only to discover some mummies do not burn! Some carried a The-One-Ring type of cursed item, some got killed by their former partners, some got mad, some did well without any hand, some found artefacts in order to rebuild an empire, some "tried" to get wishes granted, some fell into a trap within a disarmed trap, some developed obsessive mania leading to their demise, some were simply eaten in their sleep, some got possessed by a magic item, some got revived, some climbed the ranks of the military, some came from the future, some acquired 4 more lives... All characters developed their own quest.
