Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Some experience with playing and DMing, but enough to know I dont enjoy DMing so much. I started playing ~early 2019 and only sporadically, lots of "dry" periods sprinkled throughout. Still have some knowledge about game stuff tho! :> Location/Timezone: EST/GMT-4:00 (I think those are the same, might be -5:00) Availability: For right now, I'm available most days and at any time. Benefits of the lockdown here being that my schedule is empty. Some things seem to be coming up but I'm as of yet unsure when they'll happen, or if they'll happen Preferred role: Player Game style: I don't have a ton of experience in the varying style of games, but I feel I'd prefer a more relaxed game, perhaps leaning more towards roleplay than combat, though I struggle with social anxiety that makes talking take a bit of effort to actually roleplay among unfamiliar people :x. Some of the issue is the need to do a voice for the characters despite not necessarily having to.
My experience with both playing and DMing DnD comes from a handful of module games, such as the beginnings of Saltmarsh, Strahd, the 1-4 Dragon Queen one, and Waterdeep; as well as a similar handful of Homebrew games, almost none of which got past a first session, excluding an "evil" campaign which got abandoned and the homebrew campaign I DM'd.
I'm fine with anything, either any non-Strahd (played decently far into it and read the book, so i dont wanna unintentionally metagame) and non-Saltmarsh (same for this one) module or homebrew. I'd wish for something that isn't a one shot, i've had plenty of those *laugh track plays*
Mostly inspired by fond memories of the ~3 games I played of 3.5 when I was a kid, and of Critical Role being entertaining enough to make me want to play the game again.
Uhhhh... i dunno, message here or add me on discord as Aezin#0809
Hey! If you're looking for more players to join your group I'd love to join. I haven't played dnd before but have watched a few dnd shows and am familiar with most of the mechanics. I live in the UK but I think finding a time that works should be possible?

I am fairly new to this myself, I understand a bit about it. May I join as well? I would love to be one of your players!
Perhaps! I'm more looking for a group to join myself than making one, to be honest. We seem to be in the same boat in this regard! hehe
I suppose if you see any replies in this topic about open games, ya'll are free to sign up :> Not sure about forming the group myself, though. A lil apprehensive about that.
