Looking for 1 player for heavy roleplay homebrew campaign with 6 other players

I'm a member of a homebrew game and unfortunately Our 7th had to drop out and we are looking for a player to replace them.

We are 3 months into our campaign and we officially meet weekly for sessions on mondays at 7 Est, though we spend a lot of time in the group chat out of session chatting. Our group is very chaotic good leaning with a 70/30 story-leaning play style (backstory is relevant!). The whole party is currently 8th level and consists of a water genasi-swashbuckler rogue, ada pheonix socerer, an aasimar light cleric, a Half-Elf Fey wanderer Ranger, a ravenite conquest paladin, and a tiefling conjuration wizard. 

Our Campaign setting is high fantasy, in a world on the beginning of an out breaking war against a mysterious force collecting objects of immense evil.  

We are looking for 18+ players, current player ages range from 18-28, players with some experience preferred, but new players are welcome and our group is more than willing to help teach new players the ropes. We use dischord for voice and roll20 for maps and video, both of which we can teach anyone unfamiliar with the algorithms.

Character concept (Race/class/subclass): Wildhunt Shifter Kensei Monk with the Archeologist background. He's lived his entire life on an expedition thanks to his parents who taught him every trick of the trade. They've retired now, but he carries on the family profession.

Favorite Experience as a player:  I failed to disarm a trap which gave my DM much joy. The problem was that while he was describing the bottomless pit that I was to fall into I reminded him of the two immovable rods in my possession. I passed all of the following checks with flying colors, and used the rods like a set of monkey bars to swing across the pit.

Favorite Experience as a player:  Personally my favorite experience thus far was negotiating with a bandit camp to ally with the town they were raiding for even more profits, legal trade is alot more profitable and alot easier than fencing stolen wares.
Something You've never done before in game but would like to experience: I havent had an experience where my character goes against their alignment and eventually falls to chaotic neutral or lawful evil and would think it would be an interesting story arc for the other PC's to help my character "come back to the light"
