Hey! I'm a new player, but I've been interested in D&D for a little while and wanted to get into a campaign. I'm east coast US and Sundays work for me (though I can't do the 16th and the 23 may be tight as well due to vacation. If you need to pick someone else because of that, I understand)

Hey there. I'm going to just throw this character out there and see if she would fit into your story. If not, no worries.

I'm a relatively new player but have been doing very well on the Phandelver campaign my party is doing and so am looking for more of a challenge. My acting background means that I love to do the roleplay part, although I usually do the narration for the character in the third person. I'm also PST, so Sunday would work fine for me.

The character I have that I think might fit in here is a new one I created, Criella or "Creed," a female tiefling ranger whose favored enemy is fiends. You can view her sheet here.

Her tiefling village on the outskirts of a forest was destroyed when she was in her early 20s by a battalion of fiends under the command of the Demon Lord, Kostchtchie, Demon Lord of Wrath. He thought the village's attempts to make an honest living off the land were an affront to their infernal heritage, so he wiped it off the map. Alone and in the wilderness, she learned to track and hunt down fiends while living off the land. As a result, she's not very social and can be inept and awkward around others, with uncharacteristically low Charisma for a tiefling. But she's good at the hunt and good at survival, which is what made me think of her for this campaign.

The reason she might not seem to fit in at first is that she's Chaotic Good. She is wholly dedicated to eradicating fiends when she comes across them, which at times can get her into trouble when she pursues it too single-mindedly. That's actually why she's in jail at the moment, despite not being a "normal" criminal type: she was pursuing a fiend. There was a local noble who was beloved by the aristocracy and common folk, but that's partly because he was actually an incubus in disguise and used his charm to secure his wealth and standing. Creed discovered his true nature and infiltrated his manor, killing him. The combination of killing a beloved, seemingly-human noble, paired with the general cultural distrust of tieflings, meant that no one believed her when she revealed why she did it, and so they locked her up for life in prison. However, sure of her own innocence and of her need to fulfill her calling of killing fiends, she has been looking for any opportunity to escape into the wilds again.

She's currently at level 1 because she's new, but I'd be willing to level her up just a couple if that would fit into the campaign better. I don't have a discord atm, but can make one easily if that's the platform the game will be on. PM here works if you need to get in touch.
