Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online (Foundry VTT and Zoom) Experience: veteran (28 years) Location/Timezone: Mountain Time Zone (USA) UTC -6 Schedule: 11 AM - 5 PM August 8, 2020 one-shot Roles sought: Need 5-6 players, new players welcome Game style: Silliest dungeon-crawl you'll ever play

Greetings Gregarious Gamers! My name is Wade and I am looking for 5-6 players, preferably Rick and Morty fans. What is Rick and Morty? Follow this link for an overview: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_and_Morty
I am running the D&D vs Rick and Morty dungeon, "the Lost Dungeon of Rickedness" as a one-shot game. Pre-generated characters are provided. You are starting at level 1, but you will advance rather quickly and should be 3rd level by the end of the dungeon.
This will be my first time using Foundry VTT. This light-hearted game is for entertainment, but I will also be learning how Foundry works. Please be patient during gameplay. So far, it seems pretty simple and straight forward. We'll see.
Scenario: You are each playing a member of the Smith family (Morty, Summer, Jerry, Beth, and Rick), except for one random character named "Meatface." As a member of the Smith family, you are playing a D&D character. You may view a PDF of each character here:
I have run this adventure once before for my regular face-face group, but we didn't get all the way through it. It was hilarious and is in my all-time top 5 most fun experiences in a D&D game (and I've been playing for 28 years).
Please understand, this is a SILLY game. The text is as if Rick is speaking and it is very sarcastic and *******-ish. Anyone can play this game, but it REALLY helps if you have seen Rick and Morty and it helps even more if you are a "FAN" of Rick and Morty. Otherwise, it is just going to seem like a kooky dungeon.
This is just going to be a one-shot, BUT........... I have an idea to continue the silly play and run a series of episodic adventures BASED on the Rick and Morty tv episodes. I wouldn't be trying to turn the episodes into adventures verbatim, but the basic concepts from the TV show would be used to create the base concepts of the adventures. If we play through this dungeon and everyone has a good time and wants to keep going with silly shit, then we'll see about keeping things going. For now though, just count on a one-shot.
Please contact me via direct message on Discord (see above). If you are selected, then I will share the game links with you. I will also give you access to my D&D Beyond where you can choose one of the characters. You can use the PDF version if you prefer, and they are also uploaded to Foundry VTT. When you apply to play, please include the following info:
Game Experience? (how long have you been playing, what RPGs, player or DM, etc)
Rick and Morty fan? (Are you a Fanboy, casual viewer, you know it is a show, or "what's a Rick and Morty?")
Do you have a good internet connection, microphone, and headset with an easy way to mute when you aren't speaking?
What character do you want to play? (Fighter/melee, Figher/ranged, Wizard, Cleric, Rogue, Bard) *See Google Drive Link above*
Do you understand that this is a silly game just for laughs?
Do you have any triggers or subjects you DON'T want to joke about? Butts are a theme in this dungeon... just sayin...
Do you have any questions?
Did you actually read this far and answer all the questions (including this one)?
If you have followed the instructions and you have answered all of the above questions, then you are officially on the list of potential players. I will notify you by Friday, August 7th if you have been selected.
I will select people in the order they applied IF they followed instructions and answered all questions.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I look forward to your responses.
is there still a slot available? I tried to text you through discord but it did not work... Also, I discovered Rick and Morty last summer and ever since it is my favorite show
