I am looking for a NEW long term weekly (mostly weekly, we all supposedly have real lives) game. Mon, Fri, Sat after noon (literally 12:01 is cool) are best (im pacific US)
no persistent worlds.
I have attempted to play in multiple campaigns, but only 1 that has made it past a month.
I prefer an adult DM and mostly adult group, simply because you have more control over your own schedule. A 'kid' or two is fine, but the majority needs to be an adult, but they shouldn't be the focus of the early story (once they prove reliability is fine).
Mature themes are fine, but I don't need my D&D campaign to be have
No evil PCs, murder hoboing, stealing from other players, and the sort just do not appeal to me. (a rogue stealing some gold from a loot pile is acceptable, but not once players have marked it down).
homebrew rules are ok, as long as you say them up front and dont make them up as you go. consistency is key! (a limit of 30 lbs carry capacity should be stated before i join the game, not after ive given you my entire backstory for the character whose armor is heavier than that...)
I'm a very visual person, so I need maps in some sort of program (Roll 20, fantasy grounds, something else) that lets you see maps and keep track of characters and rolls.
Discord voice is a must. text based is just too slow.
Yes i know im super picky, but i know what i like. and id rather you pass on me now, than have a character approved, and then get in the game and find out it isnt going to work out for us, setting us both back!
