New to DND and would like to play :)

Hi im new to DND and would like to find a group to play with, I have been watching alot of dungeon and dragons campaigns like Critical Role and The Adventure Zone and really want to dive into playing. I have tried to DM with a small group (2 people) but they weren't very interested and it wasn't a fun experience. I have lots of characters piling up so I can fill really any role but I do prefer spell casters :)

Characters I have are: (all lvl 1 but are flexible to change)

Half-Elf Druid
Tiefling Monk

Hi I'm new to D&D too (long time watcher, first time player). I would like to join as well if you're interested and can find a good time. I don't really have a character selected yet since I don't know what the group is going to be like, but I have been eyeing a human rogue, a gnome cleric, or half-orc barbarian.

A great start for new players is to join a Dungeons and Dragons West Marches on Discord. I personally recommend and am an active player in the Sanctuary West Marches server. 
To explain, you magically arrive in Sanctuary because you are a lost soul. There doesn't appear to be a way back to wherever you came from and so you are forced to rely on the resources and fellow adventurers of the world. 
Sessions are run by a team of Dungeon Masters. They will post a mission with a time that they are running it. From there, your adventurer can sign up to participate in that mission if you are available to participate IRL. Sessions are played in Discord's Voice call and use Roll20 to help players get immersed in the world. 
In the meantime, in between sessions, you are free to use the various text based roleplay channels to interact with other adventurers around the town. There are also voice roleplay channels if you would like to talk to someone in person. 
Personally, I love West Marches because they allow you to play when you want to play. You can also play whatever type of character you want to play as long as it fits in the various guidelines. On top of that, most people in Sanctuary are very welcoming to new players and are happy to help show you the ropes of playing our favorite game ever. Like me. I LOVE THIS GAME SO FRICKING MUCH!!!
