Hello fellow critters and DMs who would like to take a band of misfits through the land of Exandria!
We are a group of 6 players, ages ranging from early 20s to 30s with experiences of varying degrees. We have a generic idea for our characters and our roster goes as Wizard, Rogue, Rogue/Bard, Paladin, Fighter, Druid, but we would like to figure out details and whatnot with a DM.
We prefer a campaign with the following;
Long term, starting from either level 2 or 3.
Biweekly, on Sundays 1pm to 4pm UTC, 3 hours of game time.
%70 RP to %30 Combat, we can spend some sessions with only RPing and some sessions with big battles and stuff.
A story that we can invest in and look forward to; fights and scuffles here and there to cinematic showdowns as the story builds up to; a lot of exploration within the world; a middle ground intrigue between Sherlock-level mysteries to many-pieced puzzles, where some are simple some can go deeper.
Experience gained through milestones and/or story accomplishments.
Levelling up done between sessions.
Sandbox and quest-line combined were a story plot oriented adventure that we can stir away from on occasion with side quests to explore the world a bit more.
Low to Moderate risk of player character deaths, it shouldn't be too easy to survive the fights but we wouldn't want it to be easy to kill us too.
Good/Neutral party that's thrown together, where the group comes together for a common goal or to battle common foe.
Fantasy themes and tropes such as Good vs. Evil, The Heroic Quest for Power/Knowledge, Tradition vs. Change, The Individual vs. Society, Person vs. Themselves, Love, Betrayal, Epic Journey, The Unlikely/Reluctant Hero, Nautical Adventure, Fey and Devils, Mystery, Found Family and so on.
Tone is somewhat laid back with serious to humorous.
Modified module and homebrew is fine.
Diversity of races, genders, sexual orientations and bodies (from fat to thin, abled to disabled)
For the DM and players to abide by the TTRPG Consent Checklist and enforce if anyone slips, respect triggers, discomforts and preferences.
No toleration to any hate or discrimination (racism, sexism, homo/bi/transphobia, ableism etc.)
Communicate like grown ups if any issues arise.
Played through DnDBeyond/Roll20/Discord.
