I believe I have found a full group at this point! Will most likely be removing post later today. Thank you all so much for the interest on the campaign!
On another cold dreary day on the steppes of Ithilmar tucked away from the rain in the Cobblers Cove Inn...
You lazily take another sip of your cider, finding it lukewarm, as you listen to the most recent bard to wander through town. Your mind wandering from the travels you have just finished to the new journeys that lie awaiting on the morrow... Sitting warm and content from the fire and drink you stare at the garishly dressed human man while he strums on his lute, convincing only the drunkest of patrons he is skilled. Downing the last of your cider in a large gulp you contemplate on having one more drink as the door to the inn opens with a loud creak. Nervously the bard falters on a few notes as he distractedly glances towards the door, before picking his pace back up when the door slams shut. You place your empty mug upside down on the table in front of you and glance to the door curiosity nagging at your mind. The newest addition to make its way out of the cold and wet was a slim man in a long brown coat, holding a thin metal staff adorned by a single white Orb, and a dire expression on his face. Walking to the local Criers Board he quickly pulled out tac, hammer, and a scroll beginning to tap the scroll in place. Without saying a word he turned slipping his small hammer back into his belt, grabbing his staff where it leaned on the wall, and quickly left the inn. Wandering your way over to the notice board, cupping your fresh cider you acquired from a barmaid on your way over you blow softly at the steam rising from your cup. Squinting to read the notice in the low firelight the writ says...

About Me
Hello there my name is Chase and I am a newer DM who has been playing D&D 5e for 2 years now. I have ran my best friend through a lot of my home brew campaign I've written, as well as the Lost Mine of Phandelver. We have done our solo campaign for the better part of a year now and I feel confident in having other players explore the world I developed and will continue to develop as we play! I have played in a few campaigns over those 2 years with a wide range of classes as well.
Expectations Of Play
1. A warm welcome atmosphere where RP is highly encouraged but not required all the time.
2. Commit to a time! Just please attempt to honestly show up or give advance warning of absence
3. Relax and try to enjoy yourself as you explore some new fantasy with new friends!
Hello! I (Warren) and my partner (Meg) are really interested in joining a new group and finding a DM who's into running a campaign the way that you describe! Neither of us are new to D&D, but we're certainly not the most experienced either. We're looking for an emphasis on roleplaying, character development, and storytelling, but we also like to kick a little butt. We are also in PDT (Portland) and have a relatively flexible schedule, though we prefer weeknights (with one or two exceptions). We'd love to chat more about potentially joining a group with you! Feel free to shoot me a direct message if you'd like to talk more.
Hi, I'm Tim, I am interested in joining this game and looking forward to having you as the DM. I have been a fan of D&D for a long time but only just started playing it a year ago and I really enjoyed it. I am however in university and I hope it will not affect any playing time. I am flexible with the time I play. I hope to hear from you soon
Hi, my name's Taylor, I'm 20 years old and I'm a new player, but I have some understanding of the game from watching dimension 20 campaigns. I live in the EST timezone, but I'm more than happy to adjust to the PDT time zone. I have multiple characters I could use depending on the party, campaign, as well as the tone that's being aimed for. Just to briefly introduce them I've included short descriptions below.
Character 1: Anje, water gensai, druid, haunted one. She's spent all her life up until now in isolation for her own safety and for the safety of others around her due to the fiend she shares her body with. However, sick of being contained, she recently escaped her parents home and is experiencing the world for the first time.
Character 2: Oda, lightfoot halfling, rogue, criminal. She grew up a trouble maker always stealing toys and candy when no one was looking, but when her father was killed in a raid and her sister disappeared her carefree and mischievous nature turned cold, no longer taking meaningless things for fun, but taking because if others took from her then it was only fair.
Character 3: Kasvyn, half orc, barbarian, folk hero. Her mother is the head of her home's version of the city guard and so she was raised with a deep respect for authority and justice. However, upon witnessing unfair and cruel treatment towards a criminal who was merely stealing to provide for his family she began to question whether or not the guard was truly there to serve and protect.
Character 4: Ignis, human, bard, noble. Her parents, while not royalty or noble by blood, are very wealthy and own a lot of land as well as shares in local businesses. She is the youngest of nine and has never been considered a candidate for the family inheritance. However, she has no interest in the inheritance, only wanting to make her family proud by becoming a famous musician.
Character 5: Morkaye, tiefling, wizard, sage. She was raised as a follower of the Raven Queen, but recently she has become tormented by death, mortality, and the seemingly meaningless nature of life. She has abandoned her previous life in order to search for answers, preferably in the form of immortality, and she will destroy anyone who gets in her way.
Hello! The name is Tanner and im from EST! I just got out of training and Id love to join your game. I have about 3 months of experience so im still pretty new to dnd!
I have a few characters I could play as that could fit to multiple game styles! I have some characters pre-made I cant list out here if they interest you!
Torsyl - goblin/rogue gambler - Talks him self up alot and doesn't like rich people. He is the steal from the rich to gamble it all away at the bar kinda dude, but hey when it comes to thievery he's your guy.
Durabark - warforged/artificer izzet engineer - Spends most of his day working on crazy different chemicals. Durabark loves to mix random things and hope for the best. When he isn't mixing chemicals Durabark is a pretty gentle soul, and is sort of quiet too.
Valhace Greenleaf - halfling (mark of hospitality)/bard guild artisan - She doesn't really like doing the whole battle thing but hey she is the one you want on adventures with you. Aside from her stories, good cooking and her kindness she is also half way decent at keeping her party alive. Her dream in life though is to settle down and open up a tavern for anyone to come and enjoy her food.
Hi, I'm Becca and I've been playing DnD for almost 4 years now. Until now, I've only played with a small group of friends but I'm looking to branch out. The homebrew world you described sounds amazing and I am a big fan of world creation and delving into new worlds. I am still at University but have a very flexible schedule due to online classes. I'd love to join your campaign. I love meeting new people and am always looking for a group that I can fully get into character and delve into a new world. In terms of classes and races, I'm pretty well versed in them all and am willing to fill any gap the group needs. (I prefer some form of spell caster but have been experiencing with the non-spellcaster classes and have enjoyed it)
If you are interested in letting me join the campaign, DM me and I can send you my discord
My name is Mike, I have a working webcam (ive been in a few actual play streams for a different game) and im older than 18. I have played/DMed other games ttrpgs before, just never D&D. I do have some understanding of the system (I have read the corebook and watched a few actual plays). I prefer games that have RP and where we can grow our characters. I am in the EST timezone, and am available after 9-915 pm Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
Hello! My name is Rick and I’m a fairly new player looking to join a campaign. I’ve played a few sessions of a campaign (5e) a few years ago so looking forward to get back in and really learn! My discord is darkrick510#7887. I am available Sunday through Thursday 8pm-1am EST. Previously I started a human ranged fighter but would like to expand to a different class.
Id be interested in learning more about your game and the way you DM, ive played in three previous games varying from RP to heavy combat, my time zone is GMT+1 so I understand if that could be a problem for you and other players. Id love to hear back from you.

I would really like to talk to you directly for more details, I have a few readymade characters that could be dropped in any good world, but a good setting could spark of my idea for a totally new one even more fitting to the setting.
I have a lot of questions; add me on Discord SirAron#7444 once you have the time. Can’t wait to hear more details about the setting, time scheduling, etc!
Hi I’m Super (24f) and I’m interested in joining your campaign. I have a few months worth of experience as a player. I am in the EST timezone and can play any day Sunday-Friday. As for race and class I plan on playing as a winged Elven ranger named Kara. Add me discord is Super Girl Zy#3769
Hi I'm Jeremy. I've been playing DnD since the red box days (42 M) ... but I stopped for over a decade... gotten back in recently and have really been enjoying it. I super laid back and mostly just want to have a good time and get some RP in when playing a game. I love the sounds of your homebrew world and would love to do a long term campaign. I'm EST and should be available most evening. Add me on discord j1z0#7818
Hi, my name is Charlie and I’m interested if you are still looking. We’re in the same time zone and I’m actually looking for a group because my current one is hard to get a time that everyone will actually show up for. I’ve been playing off and on for about 15 years and would love to get a steady campaign going. I’m good with acclimating to the level of RP that the rest of the group is comfortable with and am willing to build a character around the classes already chosen. I just love the game and want to make it fun for everyone.
Hello, My name is Connor and would be interested, I am in EST but that means I have a lot more time available in afternoons and nights since I am 3 years behind you. I have played 2 shorter campaigns biweekly the past two years but am looking for something new. My discord is UrbanDeathKnight#4644 or email connor.t.stephens@gmail.com. It looks like my campaign this year might not happen due to people afraid of COVID so I am looking for another campaign but always available for both if the other one happens.
Hello! For now you can just call me Archer, but I am highly interested in your campaign should you be recruiting still. I have not gotten the chance to really play myself but I have started a home brew campaign for my family. You seem to be someone of similar mind and same time zone, so that helps a lot! I have a few characters to choose from, if you are still looking for people of course! My Discord is ArcherGurl7#8615
Hello, I'd be happy to join this campaign if the time works out! I'm available from 4:00-8:00 in your time zone. I have a lvl 1 stout halfling ranger I'd like to try out. PM if interested.
I'm very intrigued by your introductory paragraph and interested in joining your campaign. A bit about myself, I'm 20 years old and have about 2 years of playing D&D under my belt. I'm in CEST (GMT+2) which would probably limit the available timeslots for us to play together but I'd love to still make it work. For character ideas, I have a few basics going on but I would want to talk with you and the rest of the party first to see what would fit and could lead to meaning RP and storytelling in your world and the game as a whole.
Hope to hear from you soon! (Discord Granite#5973)
Hey, call me Entaeron (or Ent if you prefer) im 28 and looking to finally get into dnd. I spent my day making a sheet for a blood hunter that I'd like to use and your storyline looks pretty cool. I live in the twin cities, so thats -5 gmt. I tend to work most mornings and some weekends, but for the most part I tend to be home around 4pm CST. I'm hoping to find a weekly or bi-weekly game if at all possible. If you're interested DM me here or on discord at Entaeron#4519
Heyo, I'm Wesley...entirely new to DnD besides concept, and still need to learn most the ropes...what i do know is self taught, so i mostly work on characters in my spare time.i just turned 18, and i'd love to join! as for Rp, i did Discord RP for a time (my discord is inactive for reasons atm though) i was! hoping to start my first campaign i'm available most the time, of most days, completely free in the evenings and Saturdays, and ive been meaning to try out either Bard/Sorc half elf or a Mark of the Storm Artificer, (i also have a barbarian/fighter war-forged!) but if you are missing a specific party member type, i'm flexible and am willing to try anything i can !
Hi! my name is Mateus or you can call me Erusean. I'm interested in partaking in your campaign. I enjoy roleplaying a lot and I am always in a great mood. I'm 19 years old, and I'm considering playing a tiefling sorcerer or maybe a paladin. If you wish to contact me you can add me on discord at Erusean#3172 or dm me here.
