Looking for Players interested in a Discord game!

Game: D&D 5e

Group type: Online (via Discord Text Chat)

Experience:  Any degree of experience is welcome! However, being familiar with the game's ruleset is appreciated by the group.

Location/Timezone: US (DM and 1 Player), EU ( 2nd Player) EST / GMT + 1

Schedule: Once a week on Wednesdays (appropriate time to be discussed with DM)

Roles sought: 2 Players

Game style: Focus on RP , exploration and puzzles with combat thrown in. The campaign is split up in chapters and appropriate OOC channels are assigned for background-related purposes to every player. The game is played exclusively through text and Avrae,with maps made by the DM, so a decent amount of literacy is required. Don't expect an extremely action-packed setting,at least for the moment,though combat is definitely present.

Hello to anyone who may be reading this, and thanks for taking your time to reply to this request. Seen as how a few people from our group had to leave due to scheduling issues, we are looking for someone capable of taking their spot. The party is currently composed of a Human Fighter and a Tiefling Warlock. Prior to said problems, they were busy investigating the mysterious disappearance of...a cat. Quite an adventurous start, if I do say so myself. But that's not all,as this courageous ragtag bunch of adventurers are trying to find out what hides behind an Orb-like artifact that seems to be tied to their world's past after having dealt with a Golem and finding out that it was none other than a mechanical contraption, left behind by a long-gone ancient civilization.

- You must be 14+ (though 16+ would be more suited to the game) to join.

I've been in a few sessions and they've now all come to an end quite some time ago, and I've really wanted to get back into it! This campaign sounds perfect and you seem really nice.

I started D&D a couple years ago in my student union and did a couple campaigns with various groups, it was a really good way to get me introduced to it so I know the basics and how to use most mechanics (I still consider myself fairly new to it all compared to others). My first couple of DMs were great at giving us a bit of everything for the newbies, and so far I've loved exploring new areas and following mysteries. I've really enjoyed fun character interactions with other players, hopefully that can still be done over discord! 

I've played a couple clerics and a human fighter, but I'm looking to play as a genasi wizard or sorcerer, but happy to fill any other kind of role that's needed.

I'm also 21 and live in Uk, so hopefully we can find a good time for us all :)

Your group sounds like my style. I’m relatively new to dnd, only about two years into it through. Started playing with some good friends at school, and we still have a regular group going.

I like enjoying a laid back game (could try combat heavy or whatever, but I’m no murder hobo). I usually like the shared story telling of the game, and the game mechanics aspect of it.

I’ve only had a chance to play two characters so far, but I had a lot of fun with the first. He was a half-orc fighter named Er-Mah-Gurd. I would describe him as kind of a happy go lucky goof whose head was filled with dreams of becoming a Paladin, like the father he never knew. He ended up giving up his dreams to take over an orphanage, and became a local legend who supposedly invented the baby bottle.

My greatest passion is probably in stories and different kinds of lore. I’ve made myself sick before by skipping sleep to devour a good novel.
