I was introduced to ADnD back in the mid/late 80s and played it through 3e/3.5e before marriage/kids/life/whatever. I've now started to DM for my adult kids and their friends. I'm looking for a group that I can play with, not have to run a campaign for. I'm somewhat new to 5e, but spend a lot of time reading and learning. I'm looking for a group that meets and is committed to playing weekly with a focus more on fun, not necessarily how many arrows you can or can't carry on your person. I'm 50, kids are grown, wife isn't interested, so this is for me and something I want to invest time in and grow with, but I want to play more than once a month.
I look forward to speaking if the following fits what you're looking for:
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Previous versions/rules, A Few Years Location/Timezone: North Carolina, EST Schedule: Monday, Tuesday or Thursday nights only (Sorry, that's what the wife has allowed and she's the DM of our marriage) Roles sought: Player Game style: Looking for more casual game playing style where if I don't know the exact encumbrance of my character, down to the coin, and how it affects my movement, I won't get chastised or ostracized. There are a million rules and I admit I do not know them all. I'm doing this for fun and escape, not to feel bad at the end of the day. :) (I do read about it and study 5e just about every day so I'm not a chaotic player, just new to 5e)
Hopefully, Gary a.k.a "Dreycus"
