Game: Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Group preferred: Online Experience: 4 Years (Began in early 2017) Timezone: Central Daylight Time, GMT-5 Schedule: At the time of posting, I am available every day of the week except Sunday. If this changes, I will post an update in this thread. Roles Sought: I can balance a game for anywhere between 3-6 players, but I’m able to provide for less using the Sidekick rules. Game Style: I’m able to provide any kind of game for you (more information below)
With a healthy amount of creativity, I’ve been able to run games for a steady group of friends ever since I first began dming, finding I had a knack for it. Inspired to play by the Adventure Zone, I came upon my own when I took the role more seriously after watching Critical Role. I enjoy expanding and taking advantage of lore, and rewriting existing adventures to be more interesting to the players, to the point that I have given the Lost Mines Questline a complete reworking after the Icespire Peak Questline came out.
Recently, I’ve had issues finding work since the virus hit, as most of my expertise derives in culinary works, but I saw that some people wanted to charge for their dm services, and some people willing to pay, so I’ve decided to throw my hat in the ring.
My last online course was a creative writing program, and I aced it 100%, with no failings, to give you an idea on how well my writing for a game can be.
Quotes from people I have dmed: “He’s able to use your character backstories in interesting and unique ways” “He’s good at working in plot twists and surprises to keep you on your toes”
General Information: You create your own character sheets (here on dndbeyond), but I can help guide you through the process if you’re lost. Campaigns will use Milestone experience (which means no xp). Maps and tokens are not done over Roll20, but rather uses Google Drawings for the maps and moving the tokens around.
Services and Prices: Roleplaying Game Lessons (Includes basic knowledge if not already known, along with character creation and aid in backstory creation, 2 hour sessions, if there’s time a small tutorial encounter/quest can be provided) ($10 per person, per session)
Roleplaying One-Shots (I can DM a 3-4 hour one-shot for an event or simply because you want to play (Maximum of 6 players). It can be one of your choice among a list of possible choices, or you can request that I surprise you!) ($20 per person)
DMing a Campaign (I can DM a Campaign for you and your friends, taking you to high levels and high adventures, with deep roleplaying and fun puzzles! Each session is to be 3-4 hours.) ($30 per person, per session. This price is higher than one-shots because planning and investment is needed for a campaign.)
As for adventures and campaigns, you can ask for certain things and I can recommend a module, or you can suggest that I run a specific adventure for you. If you’re a beginner, I recommend Dragon of Icespire Peak or Lost Mine of Phandelver.
