Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Face-to-face Experience: veteran Location/Timezone: Montreal / GMT-5 Availability: Evenings and Weekends Preferred role: DM or Player Game style: Home-brew Open World, Roll with the flow,
Hello, I'm a D&D 3.5 Veteran and Pathfinder 1e DM. I've recently been introduced to D&D 5e I've created my own home-brew world for Pathfinder years ago, but have not been able to DM in the recent years due to life circumstances.
I'd like to start DMing again soon, but I feel I need to get used to 5e first as a lot of things changed since 3.5 (no DR, resistances work differently, poison, disease and curses seem to be different)
So i'm looking for 2 things right now; A group I can join as a player to get accustomed to 5e. (French or English) A group to serve as my guinea pigs for my open world home-brew setting (all my encounters are 3.5/pathfinder compatible, will be trying to adjust them/test them in 5e, so are NPC interactions). (Mostly French with some English)
It is to be noted I'd rather play with adults. As mentioned higher, the games would have to be in person In the city of Montreal QC. I can possibly host the game but not if there are more than 3 players (limited space/small table) I do not drive, but I am close to certain bus lines/metro.
