Hi all! I don't mean to be exclusionary by any means, but in this specific case I am looking for Scottish players in particular because I will be moving to Scotland within the first few months of 2021 (whenever a safe vaccine is developed)! So, I am looking to get a group going virtually now that will become in person once I've moved to Scotland (where dinner and drinks will be provided each session). I got a full group of 4 people for the first iteration, but I'd be more than happy to run a second if enough people are interested!
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online until early 2021, then Face-to-face Experience: New with a little bit of homebrew DM'ing experience Location/Timezone: I'm personally EST but I will be working with GMT! Schedule: Weekly or Bi-weekly, day and time to be discussed with players! Roles sought: 4-5 players, 18+ Game style: I definitely focus more on player characters and stories/plot than combat, but combat will obviously still occur! I try to have a combat situation in every session, so you won't have to go without battles! This will be a homebrew campaign, so I do not mind whatsoever if you'd like to use your own homebrew character as long as you're willing to explain to me their specifics! Due to the campaign's plot, no characters can fall in the "evil" alignments.
Game/Player Behavior Guidelines: Towards blood and gore, I'd prefer if we keep it PG-13 at worst. Language is out the window - you can curse as the day is long. "Adult themes" will be limited to PG-13 at worst and I ask you all respect that as well. Absolutely no sexism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, and the like - you will be banned immediately if you don't follow this. I'm still definitely considered new to the game, so please be patient with me and explain rules/moves when need be. Most importantly, respect each other and try to have a lot of fun!
Caveats: Ifyou have to stay virtual for the vast majority that's perfectly fine; we'll just have a meet-up one session in your town so you can still experience in-person! I'm really looking for people based in Scotland as I do want to have face-to-face meetups once it's safe, so even if people do fall in the "have to majoritarily stay virtual" category we can all still easily meet up in their hometown at least once during the campaign - this means if you're not based in Scotland (don't have to be Scottish though, just have to live in the country!), unfortunately I can't consider you for this campaign.
