I've found myself perusing the interwebs looking for a consistent group to play with. Lately I've been involved in several one shots but I've yet to really immerse myself with a core group that can really build a story. I'm a writer at heart and one day I hope to blossom in to a newbie DM myself when I feel more comfortable with my world building. So a DM that's patient and willing to answer questions about that role would be really awesome!
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Veteran of 3.5e, 5e, and Homebrew for several years Location/Timezone: MT NA Availability: Any time, day or night, can flex schedule around a campaign Preferred role: Player Game style: I've been involved in several campaigns and one shots, so I'm accustomed to many different styles of parties/DMs. I've always been a flex player, making a character that supports the group as opposed to trying to undermine someone, that can be tailored to combat or non-combat proficiencies.

I've gotten a couple of responses but I feel I should expand on a few points. <3
1. I'm not interested currently in paid games. While I have mad respect for the hustle and passion of paid DMs, I'm not at a point where I am comfortable with paying for sessions for several reasons. Perhaps in the future that could change, but at this current moment, there is a lot of uncertainty that gives me anxiety due to the level of trust that has to be given.
2. I am a flex player, meaning I can play multiple styles and multiple characters. If you have a LG campaign that needs a beefy front line? I got you. You need a CN brainy sorcerer? I got you. Need a rogue or bard to stir up from drama? I got you. You have a roleplay focused group that likes to have fun? I got you. You have a very combat heavy group that min-maxes purely to slay dragons? Trust... I got you. In my experience, the best groups are the well rounded ones, so I will always tailor to the group's overall needs.
3. I have several character concepts, with backstories and fully fleshed sheets, on hand and ready to be adjusted for any game, or I can start brand new. I can slide them in to your DMs at any time, no problem. <3
4. I am a US based player, but I have a schedule I am lucky enough I can adjust as I need, so US groups, ANZ groups, EU groups, so long as it's an English speaking group, I can make time to be on whenever you need me.
5. I am an experienced player, but I'm accustomed to playing with new players. I adore little babby new players, they're so precious and wholesome and I want to put them on my shoulders while I carry them through a crypt full of undead hordes. <3 So if you have new players in your group, that's totally okay!
If anyone has anymore questions, feel free to message me or reply with your discord! ^-^
Update: I'm also willing to look at open world discord communities as well! I admit I'm not terribly familiar with them, but I have begun to dip my toes in open world environments. <3
Hey are you still looking for a group? I have an ongoing campaign with friends/family that leaves it to a toss up every week if we can play on PST Sunday 3pm or Friday 5:30pm. Lmk if that works for you. Party is at level 4 and we’re 8 sessions in. Also as everyone can get busy I still run the campaign with 1 or 2 missing players unless it’s a really pivotal moment in the story then we just postpone it completely. Looking for another person so that when there are 3 people missing we can still keep going. Setting is home brew medieval fantasy.
