Forever-DM looking to be an adventurer at long last! [UK GMT]

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online, I have experience using roll20 and the avrae discord bot.
Experience: I have DM'd for a group for 2 years, and played D&D5E in general for a little longer. It’s been over a year since I was last a player I think. 
Location/Timezone: UK, GMT
Availability: I'm available most evenings from 7-10 pm
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I'm looking to enjoy some character building and roleplaying, but I do enjoy a battle as well - probably a 60/40 split. I would rather a session had lots of roleplay opportunities and character interactions than two hours of slaughtering goblins for gold. I enjoy world building as a DM and pretty sure I can come up with a compelling backstory if needed. Don't mind homebrew campaigns or modules, but I prefer games where the rules are 5e and otherwise discussed openly as a group at the beginning.

As for myself? I'm a 29 years old and go by he/him pronouns. I teach 11-18 year olds so I would prefer a group of adults, but on the internet that often just comes down to maturity!
