Game: D&D 5e Group type: Ideally face-to-face but possibly online as well. Either way we will be using D&DBeyond for character sheets. Experience: Any amount of experience is welcome! Location/Timezone: Philadelphia, PA (EST) Schedule: We are looking to play on Saturdays from about 11:30am/12:00pm - 4:30/5:00pm Roles sought: DM / Player (up to 4!). We can DM or play, but ideally will end up switching roles from campaign to campaign. Game style: We tend to play a more relaxed, casual game. However, we are looking for players who can be consistent in making it to the game (whether online or in person). We will likely start with a one-shot module or two to get a feel for the group dynamic, but then branch into some homebrews.
We tend to go for a more humorous and fun play style while still focusing on the roleplaying and character interactions. So if you wish to play a very serious character please be prepared for some amount of shenanigans. For example, in our last campaign my character (a Kitsune Rogue) went around causing all sorts of mischief because one of the characters was super serious and kept trying to bring the story to a gloomier place (i.e. cliche tragic backstory where the character's parents were killed and everyone was out to get them including the other party members according to them). That being said, we do have more serious moments and tend to develop as the storyline plays out.
Before accepting anyone we (my roommate and I) would like to speak with each person interested so both parties can get a feel for each other as we've been burned by party members in the past. This is really just to make sure that everyone involved gets along and can stay committed to making it every week. We are also looking at the possibility of recording/animating the homebrew campaign(s) at some point, but that is only if everyone involved is ok with it.
We look forward to getting to know you and hope to start playing soon!

P.S. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and are open to curtailing any humor that is deemed offensive towards any party member for whatever reason. We are looking for a chill, friendly, and fun experience for all involved.
