Game: Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition Group preferred: Online Experience: 4 Years (Began in early 2017) Timezone: Central Daylight Time, GMT-5 Schedule: At the time of posting, I am available every day of the week except Monday + Wednesday mornings, Saturday Evenings, and Sunday Afternoons. If this changes, I will post an update in this thread. Roles Sought: I can balance a game for anywhere between 4-6 players
Using the skills I've learned over the years, I've been working hard to become a compelling DM for writing, and in the Corona Virus' uprising, I'm hoping to make it into a career. I'll be playing using Rime of the Frostmaiden, and providing character secrets to players that would fit the best with their backstories, or at the very least screw with their backstories the least. There will be roleplay-heavy content that will touch on a character's backstory at times in the adventure, but other than that shall be completely faithful to the original adventure, using Milestone leveling. My sessions will be done over discord, and without the use of Roll20, I will be using maps by sending links to Google Drawings, where I can set up maps and tokens there. Furthermore, I'll be providing images from the book itself to provide context, along with music to accompany the adventure.
Quotes from people I have DMed: “He’s able to use your character backstories in interesting and unique ways” “He’s good at working in plot twists and surprises to keep you on your toes”
I can help you with your character sheet if you're confused, but I have access to all content and will be enabling content sharing in the campaign.
Finally, due to the planning needed for a campaign, I charge $15 per session, per player, for a 4-hour session. This is because it is the average amount of pay I've found, plus the fact that I'll be providing music, visuals, and content.
No rick/morty content and no playtest content, but other than that it's free game, and we'll also be using a variant rule from Theros and a potentially modified version of a heroic chronicle, if people are interested.
I plan to run the adventure from start to finish, so characters that start at Level 1 will likely be Level 12 by the end of the adventure. Other than that, I have no schedule.
I plan to write my schedule around those that sign up for it, and yes, there will be a Session 0.

I posted this late last night, but I'm bumping it because i want people in my own time zone to see it.
Bump with new schedule!
Hello possibly interested but I have several questions:
Is $25 a one time fee or per session?
Are there any race/class/source restrictions?
Estimate of how long the adventure will run (using either level or tier)?
What is the minimum number of players you'll start with?
When do you hope to start and will there be a session 0?
$25 is per session

Ah okay, well thats a bit too rich for my blood but thank you for the information. Hopefully you find a group soon!
That's okay. Happy Playing.
I've decided to update my fees to $15 per person, per session, instead of $25
