Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: Any weekday after 6pm (EST, Midwest) Availability: Weekdays after 6 Preferred role: looking for DM Game style: Only one or two PCs.
About the time that the pandemic hit, I had a regular d&d group fizzle out. We regrouped as 2 PCs and me as the DM once every week or two. Neither of my PCs had ever played skyrim before so I sent them through the world and used material from the game as needed (400 hours in the game myself made it pretty easy to sandbox.) We recently finished something similar to the Companions arc and are slowing down now that we are all getting back to work, which is good news for me because I dislike being the DM.
I realized early on that I'm actually kind of envious of their experience and am seeking to be on the other end of things. I really want to be a PC in a new, low-PC, long-term, weekly or bi-weekly game. None of my local d&d friends have the time/interest in DMing a long term game with one or two PCs so I'm turning to reddit/DNDB.
I can bring a second player, or you can, or we can stick to one PC, doesn't matter to me. Also down for whatever setting you want to run. If you're interested let me know and we can discuss the details further- I'm certainly open to your ideas and suggestions.
