Hello adventurers. If you're reading this, you probably caught interest in the title.
A little about me: I am 28 years old male. I have been playing D&D since 2008 and just tried my hand at DMing for the first time in February of this year due to COVID. I currently have completed one campaign with a group and another group is doing Curse of Strahd. Cat lover.
Anyway, to what you really want to know about the campaign.
The setting is the land of Theros based of Ancient Greece where gods and goddesses plot against one another having their chosen champions to do their dirty work. This takes place some time after the Great War between Mogis, the god of slaughter and his brother Iroas, the god of victory. Mogis has joined forces with two other gods Phenax, the god of deception and Erebos, the god of the dead. Together they plan to over throw the other gods and goddesses. This is where you come in. You have been chosen by whatever god you choose to foil their plot. You start out at lvl 1 but it is possible your god has given you a gift (feat) to help you on your journey. As far as class restrictions go, there are none. If its homebrew, I would like to look at it. As far as race is concerned, if you are from Theros itself you have some base choices: Human, Goliath, Minotaur, Centaur, Satyr, and Triton. Now if you can find a homebrew that fits within the setting, I am all for it. Your character could also be from a neighboring island or such and be a different class. I am easily persuaded so its pretty open as far as that is concerned. I had one person be an aracnhe or spiderfolk in one so surprise me.
This would take place on Sunday. I would like to do this around 3pm cst and go for 3-4 hours. Time is negotiable day isn't.
Voice will be done over discord
If we have roll20, maybe we will do maps and battles there. Rolls I will trust you on.
If you want more info or you want to join, my discord is fr3akalpha#4348 or you can message me here. Either is fine
Hello there. This sounds like a super interesting idea. Theros and its lore is some of my favorite in Magic! the Gathering and I'm so happy they ported it over to D&D. I've been playing D&D since 2002 and I have a lot of experience in a multitude of classes and situations. My discord is Padagall#9735 if you wish to get a hold of me.
I am also very interested in playing. I actually already have a satyr paladin from a campaign that's currently on hiatus. My discord tag is Cezar#4966.
