We've got a full group! Thank you for your interest, everybody.
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online (Discord voice) Experience: 10 years as DM Timezone: CST (UTC -6) Schedule: Twice monthly on a Saturday, beginning at 7:00 PM Roles sought: 3-4 players, age 18+ (not because the game will be mature, but because I get along better with people closer to me in age) Game style: Mixture of exploration, roleplay, and combat
I'm looking to form a group of LGBT+ D&D players. I have one potential player right now, and am looking to flesh out the rest of the group. I would run a homebrew setting and campaign, and will make a player's guide available to players once I have it fully written up. If you are interested, respond with your Discord tag.
I'd be interested in a game; I've been playing on and off since 1990, and I'm perfectly fine playing with an experienced group, with a mostly-experienced group with one or two new players who may need the occasional nudge from people who don't hold their newness against them (seriously, we all had to start sometime), or with a group of newer players where I get to step back and play the support character who helps the newer players take the spotlight. I tend to play based on what's dramatically/narratively appropriate rather than having the game mechanics be the primary motivator. I've played with cis-het players before who were perfectly OK with me in the group, but sometimes it's nice to have an LGBTQ+-focused group, too (and easier to relax into the character). I'm open to playing a range of characters, depending on what would fit into the group; not just in terms of class, but also background/personality/etc.
Saturday afternoon/evening works for me, too (I'm in the UTC-8/PST time zone).

I'm interested! I'm a new player, though, hope that's okay.

I'd be pretty interested, relatively new but very eager, and more than happy to put the bi into bi-monthly
