[Online][5E][GMT] Rime of the Frost Maiden (Experienced DM) FULL

Synopsis

North of the Spine of the World and west of the towering Reghed Glacier is a frigid expanse few dare to explore, let alone inhabit. This icy land of windswept tundra recently became locked in a perpetual, dark winter without reprieve. Auril the Frostmaiden, the divine embodiment of winter’s fury, has withdrawn to this cold corner of the world to live among mortals. Further, she has cast a terrible spell over Icewind Dale, to the detriment of most of its denizens.

 

The Game

Hey All, I'm Robert 28/M Experienced DM looking to start a Rime of the Frostmaiden 5e campaign online. A bit about myself, I've recently finished a 2-year weekly 5e campaign which has now moved to Numenera. I have also run dozens of one-shots using 5e including a couple of month-long Dungeon World campaign and a smattering of individual games using smaller systems.

This game itself will be run weekly online on Wednesdays in the GMT timezone from 18:30 until around 22:30 (but not later than 23:00 as people have lives, work, and school) starting from the 11th of November and will be using VTT Foundry where I have a dedicated server I host myself with the module all set up and ready to go. This is NOT a paid game.

I can offer a friendly approachable 5e experience for new or veteran players (and new players are very much welcome!) where I am happy to help guide you through playing for the first time or the module itself and bend the rules occasionally in the name of the story.

Expectations

In return, you need to be able to make this slot consistently (though occasional drops are absolutely fine as life always happens), have a half-decent mic, be respectful to your fellow players and bring some roleplaying enthusiasm to the table. Just to note this is also an LGBTQ+ friendly game so if you have any problems with that, look elsewhere, I won't tolerate any abuse or demeaning in my games we are here to have fun and enjoy the story we collectively create not make people feel bad.

Hello, I would be really interested in joining your campaign. I am from the CEST time zone and I havent had the chance to play a campaign just yert. I have been playing since June in a west marches style server with bunch of one shot styled bounties with alot of text roleplay to go along with. I have no idea what VTT foundry means, I have only played online with R20, but I am pretty versatile. I am not LGBTQ+ but if you're a gamer, you're one of my people already.

Hi! I would be interested in joining you and others in the campaign if still possible. I'm 20 years old, a college student currently in the CST time zone so times are great. I have some experience playing, I started earlier this year and have played a bit. I'm a relatively chill dude so there shouldn't be problems there, looking forward to hearing from you!

hey i think i would be intersted, i am from CET zone. i'm 18 years old and have never played a game but am very intersted. i'm a student so the time are fine for me. i have viewed some streams of a dnd game so i am familiare with some of the rules but the roleplaying is new to me. i do have one question, is this like a one-shot or a longer campain? i hope i hear from you soon with good news.

As a foundry user myself living in Norway I would like to have a game I play where I use foundry and not just see the DM side of things. I'm 43 years old, took up dnd again after a long break 8 months ago, run two groups myself as DM, and plays in another group. for character I would like to pålay a druid, but group synergy is important  so at the end of the day the group would be what determines class.

I would be interested in joining your group. I am 30 years old and live in Romania (which would make me GMT+2). I only played 4 games before, so I got to know the basics but would love to get a more experienced group of adventures. On the weekends I am available most of the day and during weekdays I can join around. 18:30-19:00 your time.

So far, I played a paladin and a bard, but as Squeekie mentioned, group synergy is important, so I'll rotate around what is needed.

Hi, I'd be really interested in joining your campaign if you'd have me. I'm in GMT  (-6:00) (or CDT) and I'm brand new to D and D I've been looking for a group for a long time, and I'd really like to learn how to play. I'm 16 and have off on wensdays, and being part of the LBGTQ+ community, I have no issues with it what so ever. Though I've never played D and D, I'm not new to role-playing or making characters. I love to write and draw, and tend to make a few too many characters for my stories sometimes heh. Thank you for reading!
