Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online (Zoom strongly preferred) Experience: Veteran (I playtested this edition.) Location/Timezone: USA Mountain Time (UTC-7:00) Availability: Any time except Sundays. Prefer a Saturday game, but will happily make an exception for the right group. Preferred role: Player. I have experience DMing, but I enjoy being a player SO MUCH MORE. Game style: Roleplay/Interaction. Immersion with the characters is what I'm here for. Secondary is combat, because thwacking monsters is fun.
What follows is the character I'd most like to try out and start RP'ing, but I'm not bound to it if the party needs something else:
Argentos "the Gentleman" Langley - Devil's Tongue Feral Tiefling, Rogue (if level 1-4) or Rogue/Fighter (5+)
Basically, he was born on Sigil and travels the multiverse, observing and reporting the various realms for an organization called Dimensional Immigration and Reality Enforcement. (The D.I. guys are jerks; he works for the R.E. side.) But for the right reality, he might be willing to settle down. Oh, and he's a little weak on Saving Throws in general, so if we're using him, we'll need a good cleric.
Personally, he comports himself with manners (but not snootiness) and discipline. But besmirch a woman near him, and you'll get a rapier poking you until you apologize. Harm the defenseless in his presence, and his reason will fly out the window. Hos biggest foible is that he's spent so much time consistently with adventurers that his sense of normality is shot to all Nine Hells. A Goliath getting a piggyback ride from a halfling monk because Shupa Nettlewhistle lost a bet? Must be Tuesday. A quiet night at an inn, cozying up to the fire and listening to folk songs from the locals? How bizarre.
