Schedule: Tuesdays 6-10. However, I am quite flexible and am available weeknights 6-10 or Saturday anytime
Players: Between 3 and 4 players for a long term party.
Setting: Fantasy/Adventure, High Magic, Blend between Material and outer Planes.
I have a decent amount of experience DMing in Dnd 5e, but almost no experience DMing for online games. I am open to player preference when it comes to using online battle maps or not. I prefer if players use a hard copy of the character sheet instead of using this site as I use many homebrew rules, like inventory slots instead of encumbrance, and homebrew magical items, that would be difficult to track on DND Beyond. The campaign starts at 9th level on the first level of Ysgard. I'm not exactly sure the difference between casual and hardcore games are, but I pride myself in creating challenging and engaging combat scenarios tied to indepth roleplaying opportunities with a very open play style (No Railroading). The Campaign is planned to take the characters from levels 1-20 with a massive overarching storyline broken into multiple segments which take anywhere from a single session to upwards of 20 sessions.
Experience: New. Ran a lot of 2nd Ed. AD&D when I was a kid DMing and playing.
Location/Time Zone: Ohio (midwest represent), EST
Schedule: Jobless so whenever haha.
Few years ago I ran a very brief Maptools session in 3.5 which worked all right. No experience with roll20 or the like but I pick things up pretty fast. I generally play cleric/support roles. This would be a good fit for me so I'm up if you have an open spot.
Hey I'm a new player and I would be interested. I still know d&d's rules and mechanics and I have a character ready. I tried using your discord link but it doesn't seem to work.
Hey there, MFarmer! I was looking to jump into your discord but the link just brought me to my own landing page. Not sure what's going on there.
I'm in my thirties and looking to play a little more regularly with a group that fits well. I've only been doing this a few months, but I think I've got a good handle of the basics down. I struggle a little when the characters level up because for the most part I don't know what the options are until I get there.
At least until the pandemic is over Tuesday nights from 6-10 EST would be great for me, but any other evening except Saturday would also work for me.
