Me and a group of friends have been wanting to play DND for awhile and recently had a DM just drop off the face of the earth two days before the game would start.

This is a one-shot and would be a small investment instead of committing to a full campaign; you can learn how I DM and if we are a good match we can then talk about a longer term campaign. I work very well with newer groups and will make this an easy transition. The biggest question I have is "what constitutes a group"?  Is the group you +2 or you +5?
