The Gist...

Hi, a friend and I are doing a somewhat solo campaign, it's based on several things. But the gist is that you're in a city, with a labyrinth under it. The monsters in there have valuables in them you need to extract. A guild that allows entry to the labyrinth will pay you for these valuables. The city is large and has anything you need essentially. (more information will be given upon meeting me).

We play using TalesSpire. It will hopefully be available in EA early next year, Fret not I can stream the game so you can see the board. If you do not already have it!

Roleplay is definitely important and it is a mainstay of what my friend and I want to have, but the goal is to have combat be in the forefront of what characters are motivated to do in terms of fighting monsters and etc.

There are a few homebrew rules in play, first of all, were using a custom Heroic Array, [11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18], and you start with one feat of your choice.

Expectations...

I am running the game, I have a year and a half of DMing under my belt. And my friend has been playing since AD&D. We have a few things we want to make clear.

1. Be in it for the fun.
2. Do your best not to metagame.
3. Have a decent quality microphone.
4. Be able to use Discord.
5. Be available fairly late almost every other night, Once a week isn't enough for me if I'm being honest. (9:30PM CST to around 1:30AM CST)

I’ve been DM’ing 5th edition since 2018 and I’ve only ever been a 5e player twice. I have played homebrew ttrpgs since 2013, though. I’m a goof but I can totally be serious if the campaign calls for it 👍🏻
