I’m running “Lost Mines of Phandelver” and “Dragon of Icespire Peak.” Both books are about the area around the town of Phandalin. LMoP focuses on a “main quest” while DoIP offers side quests tied together by the growing threat of a white dragon. It should create an experience that feels cohesive while still giving players choices.
Instead of using voice or video, we will play by post, which is a great way to learn the game and get comfortable with roleplaying since you will have time to think and write out your character’s actions. I include a lot of art and maps to help players visualize the situations we’ll find ourselves in.
The ideal player is age 18+, enjoys writing, and likes to share the spotlight. They are polite and friendly. Brand new players are highly encouraged to apply.

Style: Standard mix of RP, combat, and exploration
DM Experience: About 2 years
Schedule: Play-by-Post
Time Zone: I’m on CT, but time zone isn’t very important in a PBP game. We’ll post when we can post.
Pace: Each player should ideally post once or twice a day. If you have extenuating circumstances, the group will understand, of course.
Platform: Discord
Levels: 1-8 (and maybe higher if we decide to run another adventure together afterward)
Players Needed: 4 or 5

Ah, I thought that username sounded familiar! I have played in one of TurnsWithTides' play by post games (it was Dungeon of the Mad Mage), since he's looking for newer players I'll bow out of this one but I definitely can recommend him as a great play by post DM!

We’re using point-buy or standard array for ability scores—player’s choice. We’ll also use milestone leveling and starting equipment. UA content is allowed.

Heya, name's Ashryn (you can just call me Ash) and I've been playing for since 5e came out pretty much. I'm not newer but you did mention not being opposed to a more experienced player to help teach the newer players and as someone who's DM'ed this game for the 7 or 8 years it's been out myself I would be more than happy to help! I'm more just looking to not DM for once (aren't we all? lol).
Anywho, I have a ton of character ideas but I would probably want to see what the group already has and then fill a non-existent niche so everyone can have their thing, but rest assured I have tons of characters I've made and never played or NPCs that can be turned into characters from over the years that would have quite a nice and deep story to fill in a Phanderville/Icepeak campaign! I hope to hear from ya soon hon!

He's kindhearted and very keen on taking care of the weak and helpless. Although, I'd be up for making a new character to fit the group better, too. I've been playing for a bit under a year, but I've really been wanting to try some official adventures.
