I am happy to run games for experienced OR new players, I've been DMing for twenty years and have taught the game numerous times.
This game will be played online, and I am in the Central Timezone, but I am willing to work with pretty much anything. I tend to run sessions that last between 4-6 hours.
I usually run a pretty casual game, but I'm happy to have heavy RPers or Hack'n'Slash.
My ideal group size is 3-6 players and my intention is to group people together and create a campaign WITH them, rather than try to graft people into any existing campaigns of mine.
I run a homebrew High Fantasy world, I like to use a customized pantheon. I have a few house rules that I am happy to discuss on an individual basis and to disregard or alter based on the preferences of an individual group.
About me: I'm 38 years old (or rather I will be next month), living in Iowa. The recent pandemic and unrelated health crises have put me out of work for the last 7 months, so I'm HOPING to use my skills as a dungeon master to help pay some bills. I plan to charge $10 per person per session, with discounts if you want to commit to a monthly schedule (with the game playing once per week) or more (games playing twice a week for a month for example).
I currently have games I run on Sundays and Fridays, so I would not be able to commit to those days, but virtually any other day of the week at virtually any time of the day will be acceptable for me.
I tend to be generous with items and treasure, but I am also relatively brutal as far as encounters. I prefer epic difficult combat, and we will gloss over the easy victories in the narrative.
I intend to play via Discord and Theater of the Mind, but if the group feels it is necessary, I am happy to use roll20 as well.
5E only.
