I'm Jen, a casual DM with about 6 years of experience. I have a passion project called Down Under, based off the Ghosts of Salt Marsh. I have run this campaign twice, always improving it and tailoring it to my new players. Its a very roleplay intensive experience that requires an active group of players that get along well. I have a strong preference for creative types and persons who are passionate about not only D&D but a good story. I prefer 18+, but I'm open to a younger player with a mature attitude ready to learn to play the game. I intend to play Saturdays 6pm Central Time. I'm really curious to see what twists and turns Down Under takes from Ghosts of Salt Marsh!

I'm 21, (and three-forth's), and have been playing D&D for under a year, with only a handful of sessions under my belt, but I've roleplayed in other systems and games since I was a sprout. So my handle on the rules are still a bit shaky, but my roleplay is on point.
I come to the table with my dice for roleplay- and specifically group interaction. My goal is to get into character, get everyone else into character, and explore story and conflict together. 

I've got a few character ideas already rolling around, but one type of been looking to play is a gladiator. That sort of charming showman would be fun to play, as you don't really see charm and muscle mixing much in D&D.  I'd make him either a warlock or a bard I'd say, but I'd like to learn more about the setting before ironing out a backstory. I'd also say it would be fun to have him in that typical, Greek gladiator sort of outfit, trident and net, and yet never having been on a ship or out to sea. Would be a good contrast.
 
Beyond that, I've always wanted to play a pirate bard. A big, hearty man singing sea shanties and recounting tails of pirate lords and just generally being a jolly lad.   I feel like jolly characters, at least to me, are great 'bad backstory'ers. He gets a bit to drunk, and tells of why he's actually on the sea, due to running from a baron's carnage, or running from a sorted past, etc. There is alot of room for depth that doesn't soak up the lime light I'd say.

Ive been playing dnd ever since highschool (im 20 years old) one of my first campaigns is on amino then mostly transfered to discord anyway  my reason or insperation is the dnd podcast series the adventure zone  throughout my time playing dungeons and dragons i was hooked like a fish and with that it sparks  my dream which is to be a part of a dnd podcast series like the adventure zone 

my favrote concept is basically a the alternate universe version of dnd characters  in my dnd campaigns i always plays as the same character  but the main diffrence is that character's class and backstory always changes  its still the same character but there personality  changes slightly  and big kicker that they sortve shared the same memories as before but brushed that off as a dream,vivid memory, story he experiance before they met the party.

Im really invested in D&D right now and having a lot of free time because of covid.

Im Brazilian living in Canada, started playing D&D when i was 16 (now 24) but it was not very often so im a bit rusty on some parts. Haven been reading a lot of the source books like Xanathar's Guide to everything, Tasha's Cauldron of everything, Guildmaster's guide to Ravnica and Volo's guide to monsters which i have been taking some ideas to my characters.

I've been wanting to play as a centaur or Half-elf paladin or Barbarian/Path of the Beast. Wanted to have her be a bandit/pit fighter type background that gets too cocky and is defeated by a sibling or higher political figure and is giving a second chance in a better place and is learning how to be more calm and peaceful but still struggling to understand others.(Lawful neutral)

The other is a Tiefling Sorcerer/Wild Magic. This character i have the idea of him being extremely naive because his background as a experiment/Lab rat type. So from a young age being a tiefling had no real value or place so he was given as another body to "science". The wild magic comes in as how he got out of there since he has no control using his magic during a trial he used his magic and it backfired teleporting him to a different country/realm/time. (True Neutral)

I’m 15 I have been roll paying since I was 6 but I’m fairly new to DnD so I’m still a bit iffy with mechanics and stuff. I love Rollplay heavy games and would really love to join this campaign, but I fully understand if my age is an issue.

If I am able to play I’d like to play a wizard Gnome with a tendency to collect leaves. I left home after something happened that caused the place I was living in to burn down, when it came out that someone in my family had something to do with it, I took the blame and fled. 

I should probably mention that I am queer so if that’s an issue I’m definitely not a fit for this campaign. I’m also on NZST I’m pretty much free till school starts again in February and then I will still be free on weekends.
