Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Novice Vet - First time Beyonder Location/Timezone: NWA (USA) - CST Availability: prefer evenings/late night. I work from home 8-5 and thrive on about 5hrs of sleep a night (Not insomniac, just ADHD) Preferred role: Player Game style: Casual RP to get back into it, maybe a little more than standard.
In his youth, Bidwell was on the forefront of battle, serving in Goblin Wars. Ever valiant and ever more so frugal, he saved every copper and after his service was fulfilled moved to a small forested vale of like minded gnomes, called Tinkertown. As a humble shopkeeper tinkering his days away, he found happiness in his endeavors making toys instead of war and later in his heart, when he met his wife, Tulia.
Years passed and the echoes of war faded, but when a resurgent hoard of goblins invaded his home, it took little to reawaken the warrior within. While holding the line, a swarm of goblins broke thru and began setting the village ablaze. Caught in the heat of battle, Bidwell tried all he could to reach his wife, but failed. The visage of all he ever loved was covered in blood or engulfed in flame. His beloved lay at his feet, as motionless as the child in her womb.
With one swift motion and not skipping a step, he ripped a stout branch from a beautiful black diamond crepe myrtle outside of his shop and commenced to liquifying every goblin head in sight. When it was all said and done, one could not tell where his arm ended and the branch began, both slathered in blackish blood. Bidwell sauntered back to what was left of his home, buried his life, packed his belongings and left, never to return. Forever stained in the black blood of goblinkind, Bidwell dubbed his club The Crepe Murderlya in an attempt to make light of its origin.
Now, with no ties, no home and no taste for other peoples wars, Bidwell travels the worlds seeking adventure and good spirits (both sentient and liquid) to drown his past. Most overlook this unassuming gnome, for as zealous as he seems in good company, he likes his brooding solace from time to time. But be warned, to step on this Gnome's toes, is to ensure broken kneecaps.
Keep me in mind as well! I am open most every evening as well and the nights im not are definitely scheduled in advance. I dont like leaving a party hangin..
The Gnome above is just one of the characters I created in hopes of falling in with another group. I dont even have to be a Gnome, I was just exploring outside my norm as Ive always played elves and humans, even have an Aarakocra Id like to run through the hoops! Id honestly like a diverse group for adventures, same race groups tend to be limited and often get boring as everyone tries to stay on the same page...
As long as I wind up with a group of players that can maintain the narrative, not nit-pick every little aspect of the rules in order to weasel their stats into their favor and dont take outcomes/interactions personally (ITS ROLEPLAY AFTERALL) and just have fun, then its a win for me.
