Game: D&D 5e Group Preferred: Online (Discord available) Experience: A couple of years combined tabletop RPG experience Location/Timezone: US CST (GMT -6) Availability: Roughly starting 7:30p CST, generally going for about 4 hours. Tuesday excluded. Preferred Role: Player Game Style: Casual with fairly light roleplay
In-Depth Details: Hello! Slvr Stryker is my...well, handle (think "silver", the precious metal), and I have had a very strong urge recently to actively play more D&D! The problem I've ran into is that the group that I normally play with (on Fridays) rarely meet up. And while I am understanding, I won't say it's not disappointing to gear myself up to play..****y to - time and time again - be unable to really get to play. EDIT: And now I've been removed from that game. Fun. Therefore, I come to the forums here to see exactly if I'm capable of finding a group that can at least meet up a little more frequently.
Couple things you should know about me, though. 1: At least in the beginning, I'm likely to be a little more shy and nervous upon first meeting. While I am like to open up fairly easy and quickly, it is something to be aware of. It likely won't be a major thing, but it is something to know when you invite me into your session for the first time. 2: I tend to make very video game-inspired characters when I go into character creation, as my character collection is all but glad to reveal. While, yes, there are one or two characters I made for D&D purposes, some of what inspires me the most is taking a concept or a character from a video game series I enjoy and seeing if I can actually make it on paper. As well, those of us familiar with Tulok the Barbarian's work on YouTube might recognize a few of the characters I've got in my list. So please understand that, while I may not intend to roleplay them as those specific characters, there's likely going to be influences on them if I play as them from their respective games.
Character Availability: As of right now, the character that is not available for play is Davkin, as he is part of a separate campaign at the moment (part of a home campaign with family). The others, however, are fair game...though the two I'm excited to play as of late are my "Red Mage" and "Blue Mage" concepts. DMs, feel free to let me know if there are characters you would be interested in pulling in. I know they are bare bones right now, but I'm certain I could whip up a good backstory and some proper details of the character you want to pull in in a relatively short amount of time! ^^ Also, don't be afraid to ask questions about stats, choices, levels, etc., as they are relatively flexible if needed.
