I'm an old school DnD guy, came up in the 80s, pen and paper. I've recently began accepting the new version of the game and have had some fun in a few one-shots at a West Marches community.
So info about me:
I'm fun (I think). I like people and I like when people have fun. I'm accepting of everyone and your pronouns are awesome.
I've been unemployed since January of 2020, so I've had a lot of free time - so my schedule is flexible. That may change if I go back to work, but I'd hope that I could find a flexible group that understands.
I have a Roll20 account and another VTT account that i set up yesterday but I can't remember where it was.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: New to 5e / veteran AD&D Location/Timezone: EST Availability: various at present Preferred role: Player Game style: I'm looking to get involved with a more long term campaign style group. I lean into the RP aspect but I enjoy the exploration and combat too. I prefer to play the simpler characters, but that's because of my AD&D upbringing.
I like the cut of your jib, I used to play 3.0 in 2001-2003. I would like to play with you, if you get a dm that uses roll20, let me know. i have all the sourcebooks to share on beyond. i don't mean to brag about this in every post, it's just i don't want to be skipped over lol. thats the thing about the internet, you never know if you at least made an impression, right? well, a little bit about me, I am 36. I've played to lvl 20+ with a lawful evil cleric in hours, months long campaign in 2001-2002. we were young though and i think too liberal with the mechanics. but i put in the effort. I defeated the God Bane in 3.0 and took over his godhood, but like i said we were lax. but its not like i didn't have a character die before that. I am currently dming Lost Mines of Phandelver. But I just got into 5.0 and am learning as i go. I just got a roll20 account, and it has so many uses, i would like to play a game with it where someone else dmed so i could see how to use the platform.
awesome. I'm hoping that someone like me will say "hey, i wanna dm a long term campaign and you sound interesting!" in which case I'll point at you and say, "this dude sounds fun too!"🙂
