**Synopsis** The holy city of Elturel has disappeared from the Forgotten Realms and descended into the Nine Hells. The Archdevil Zariel is capturing cities and using their citizens as fodder in the Blood War. Next on Zariel’s list of cities is Elturel’s neighbor, Baldur’s Gate. Will you be the heroes that save the city and stop Zariel in her tracks? Or will the crafty machinations of devils lure you from the path of light? Will Avernus be your making? Or your undoing? Either way…
**It's going to be metal as hell**
Due to plenty of demand i'm looking to start a game to accommodate the AWST crowd. I’m a long time DM, looking to put my DnD addiction to good use and give you something to look forward to every week. I'm a professional filmmaker and writer, with a practiced passion for storytelling, and the time and capability to make this campaign something you'll brag about to all your nerd friends. I'll work with you to get the most out of your character's journey through the 9 hells (and perhaps beyond). I've got a whole books worth of custom maps, music, atmospherics and commitment to make this an experience you’ll look forward to every week.
**Here are some reviews** from my lovely players who I in no way bribed with magic weapons:
*"Dr Vost is a master story teller that creates immersive campaigns that are filled with detailed maps, nuanced NPCs, ambient music and creative encounters. He is able to expertly weave in character backstories and is constantly working to improve every players experience. He understands and applies game rules consistently and uses the "rule of cool" when appropriate. He is patient and inclusive, shows up ready every week and expertly manages different player personalities. His campaign is one of the most exciting and dramatic I have ever played and I look forward to Wednesday night every week."* - **Borgumir, War Wizard**
*"Dr.Vost has a way to deal with anything you throw his way, even cutting the faces off of NPC to use as a facemask for my zombies later in the campaign. And understand we are people at the end of the day allowing me to take 3 weeks off for work and returning with great tie points on why my character was away. Truly a 10/10 experience "* - **Lupin, spores Druid.**
*"The best GM I've played with in years! Excellent use of roleplay, action, atmosphere and story. If you're looking for a great campaign using an ideal online experience, this is the one."* -**Varvatos, exploder of faces, drinker of cocktails.**
*"I've been playing with Dr. Vost for a few months now in a "Descent into Avernus" campaign and what I will say is this: my character died and it was the BEST moment in the campaign so far for me. Now, take some time and read that again. The character that I invested a lot of time and energy into, that I had plans for and whom I became very attached to died, and I was not only ok with it, but it was one of the best moments of the campaign. Every action has consequences and Connor is very good at making that point and at adapting to unexpected situations and improvising moments that make you feel like you're part of something special. 14/10 would play in his games anytime."* - **Maz (R.I.P)**
