Sorta new. Looking to join a group

Hey there! I am looking to join a campaign with some people and have some fun along the way. I am relatively new to DnD, but some local friends and I have tried to play a few times in the past so I am generally familiar with the game and mechanics, but I've never played a sustained campaign so still have lots to learn. I'm a 30 year guy on the west coast that's fun and  easy going. Most importantly welcoming and respectful to everyone (let's have just fun playing a game we love right?). I very much enjoy playing games and am committed to playing in on a regular schedule with some folks that have been playing a while and don't mind someone a bit new or with some newbies like me if we can find someone that can kinda take the reins and be a guide. Location/Timezone: California
Availability: Weekends would be best but I could do weekday evenings as well

Game style: Probably looking for something more on the casual side since I'm new but I am open to committing to anything fun

no guarantees, but i might need another player for a short 3-4 session campaign i am planning.. i run these every so often. most of my group is in their late 20's to 30's and on the west coast. i have a few players who play a lot together, we're very laid back.

im also open to running a one-shot for some new players... which might be a crap shoot but i haven't DM'd in a couple months because work schedule and planning and i might be open to DMing a one-shot for some new players to kind of find my bearings again.
