Somewhat new, looking for a group!

So I've played a few games before, but didn't pay much attention to some of the mechanics such as travel distance on an attack. I'm hoping to find a welcoming and friendly group that wouldn't mind a couple questions now and then. I'm in Boston, so people in Eastern time would probably be easiest to schedule with!
