I am currently short by 1-2 players for a bi-weekly D&D session I run every other Thursday. The group is new, but has experienced players in it. I am open to all experience levels and you can play any class you like.
Game: D&D 5e
Group type: Online (D&D Beyond, Discord VC)
Experience: Open
Location/Timezone: Thursdays 7pm EST. Next session is 21 JAN
Schedule: Approximately 3-4 hour sessions every other week. Maybe (depending upon the day and the players availability) I can set up a longer session from time to time if there is interest.
Roles sought: You can play any race/subrace in the OFFICIAL books (no homebrew or 3rd party materials). I have a D&D Beyond account with ALL materials and I will have it open to share. I keep the party size to 4-5 players max. HIGHLY recommend age 18+.
Game style: I am an experienced DM. I started playing back in the AD&D Red Box days. I am both a world and story builder. I have created two worlds completely from scratch and have had many campaigns, one-shots, and adventures in both. We would be playing on the recent world I have created. One thing about my gaming style is that YOU are building the story and lore of the world as you play. I generally have multiple plot lines going on and I strive to have EVERYONE to have "skin in the game". Roleplaying is just as important as fighting. Sometimes diplomacy or simply running away is more logical then confrontation. I do use some dark themes and language at times in the narrative. If you have thin skin, this is not for you.
* You will be starting out at level 1 (I REALLY don't try to kill players, but be aware level 1 is pretty weak. It might be advisable to create more then 1 character just in case)
* Standard Array or Point Buy is allowed
* No Homebrew is allowed (Eberron IS accepted though)
* You get starting inventory by default (you can petition to me for something different if it fits your character)
* I don't expect to have a full background story of your character, but I would like to see something by level 3 (this helps me to also plan future adventures and tailor the sessions to all of you). By level 3 if there is a good background story I award a "DM boon of fate" that can be anything from an item, a feat, or a bonus ability point.

Good evening! I'm a returning player, currently in one game on Sundays, but Thursday would be an ideal time slot for me.
I used to play a bit of 3.5 back in college, and have been reading a lot of the 5e manuals out of an idle mind, but my experience and recent experience especially is relatively limited, but I like to think I learn fast, and I put my all into it. I love to get invested in the story and settings, and meet new people with a like mind for it.
