I have never played D&D before, but have a good understanding of the basic rules, and am a quick learner.

Looking for a chill role play heavy game, but really focused on getting some experience and meeting some cool people. I have some ideas for characters, but would rather first talk to the DM about the game setting so my backstory will fit into the game.
