We are a new online forum and long term hopefully much more, called 'The Fixers RPG'. We have been playing D&D for three years now and actually some of us met from these very D&D Beyond servers (lets be honest, DNDB is the bees knees). But however much we love 5e, we were desperate to play some Cyberpunk but couldn't really find a DM to run it for us.. So I set this up. www.thefixersrpg.com
All with the hope that in the future, others won't struggle like we did.
So, if you are looking for a game, looking for a player or just want to chat, we would love to try and help!
We are super early on so really keen to get some people joining us on our quest to fix up players and DM's/GM's with the games they want to play, more importantly with like minded peeps! We want you all to be 'chooms' to quote the game that inspired this mission in the first place!
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: either Online or Face to face -but clearly not feasible Experience: veteran Location/Timezone: Central-Tennessee Availability: most evenings, Friday through sunday-class assignments notwithstanding Preferred role: DM either Player but would like to play more than DM Game style: I am a casual player. I get tired of hearing the cliche's," but that is what my character would do (insert stupid/evil/ selfish act)". I am looking for something with high magic. something that requires a team effort even if we aren't Master tacticians. I welcome roleplay over rules for dramatic effect but as a DM, if you bring me something, I want to see the written rules about it. Metagaming is frowned upon, meta chats are ok so long as I don't hear more about that group you loved than you are rping now. I want to play all those kinds of characters I've sketched out but never fleshed out and they are usually magic using. I am not wanting to build the highest DPR but every once in a while, do a bigbadaboom that shows im not only squishy. I prefer party cohesion with freedom to roleplay reasonable responses to situations. Yes you can be the Awful good paladin, klepto rogue, or any other murderous hobo character type but they have consequences.
