I am looking to organize a group of players and DM that appreciate the following:
- Don’t have a ton of experience but not full newbies
- Played 1st/ early editions and haven’t played in awhile (and looking forward to getting back into it)
- Easy going, non-judgy, supportive, low ego people
Just looking to see if anyone wants to try out a one shot and see if party clicks. I used to play and regularly watch Chris Perkins/ Matt Mercer and forgot how good the game is. Thinking of calling Joe Manganiello but don’t have his number. Looks like a good group. Ha
I would be interested....I broke in on B/X back in 81 and moved right into AD&D through high school years . Took about a 30+ year hiatus and started getting interested a few years ago after watching some CR. About 2 years ago played a little 5e with a group, but group disbanded and actually attended virtual Gary Con and played in a few games back in March.
i started plauing back in 1990 played with a group for about 6 months then group seperated new jobs and such life... i recenmtly have become retired and no longer work and would love to get back into playing let me know if this fits the mold
I'm pretty new but have played in the past and have been getting back into playing. I'm currently in a Sunday night campaign with some other newbies, but am interested in playing with some more experienced players.
Hey there! I played some when I was in high school but the party disbanded, took a 20ish year hiatus and started back up with new friends during quarantine after bingeing campaign 1 of Critical Role (watching campaign 2 now). Though we were playing Pathfinder and, I'll admit, after a few sessions I kind of bombed trying to play. So I'm looking to join a casual group and maybe brush up my 'skills'. I prefer playing as my half-elf swashbuckling bard if that's alright?
Forgotten Realms is fine with me. I'm also in the Eastern Time zone. FYI I do have a subscription for D&D Beyond and can share my purchased content with others...I have most of the sourcebooks if that helps.
I played as a kid in the '80's and really want to get back into it online or in person. I'm DonnJuann#7505 on Discord. This looks like something I'd like to join.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: New and looking to learn Location/Timezone: US Eastern Standard Time [GMT-5] Availability: Weekday evenings and all weekend Preferred role: Player Game style: Roleplay and combat, character development
I'm a new player and would also enjoy getting into D&D I don't necessarily know everything about it but I understand the concept and would love for a player to teach me even if you don't have that much experience (I mean you said your not a pro no offense) thank you for your support please and thank you.

When were you thinking of doing this?

Hi Evie
Thanks for reply. No immediate time frame and just trying to gauge interest. Looks like we have a few people who are interested.
Need to see if anyone can DM and will maybe repost unless anyone on this string can do?
Hi Bryagh,
Thanks for reply and I am a fan of CR as well.
Looks like we have some interest from others but need to find a DM. Half Elf Bard sounds like a good addition and will see where this goes.
If anyone on this string has DM experience or interest, just let us know. Otherwise I can edit the post to look.
All best
Hi jdepratti8633,
It was fun, it was the first time playing online during the con, We used Roll 20, it was pretty easy to use. For video and audio we used discord.
Looks like we have a total of 5 so far. Good group size.
Anyone interested in DM’ing let me know.
Otherwise will post and keep looking.
Q: Do we have preference on type of setting? I’m flexible and lean towards Forgotten Realms 5e but open to the group.
Lastly, I am in Eastern Time zone just FYI. Thanks and looking forward to setting up.
Time to brush up on my Player’s Handbook...😉

I'm on Central Standard Time BUT I have problems sleeping ^_^
I still work; my job schedule is usually early morning and come home at 4pm Sun and Mon, Tues to Thurs around 6pm, free Fri and Sat.
As for the setting, I kind of unfamiliar but I can do some reading or just take a step back.
