After DMing for my last group of a year and a half of 5e shenanigans, we all moved or went our separate ways. Now, I'm looking to start fresh with a new group in mostly sandbox environments, small and big quest availability, expensive loot, and of course BBEGs to drain the HP of. For, "session-zero" we can setup characters, get to know each other's characters, and potentially roleplay out the party meeting/first game depending. I'm alright with any times on Saturday and almost to midnight on Sunday (as per MST) as well as anytime Friday evenings once I'm off work. Sessions themselves can be anywhere from 1-2 hours, up to 6 or so hours depending on player preferences.

I have games planned for both casual hack n' slash and more serious games. Feel free to request certain content as desired.

Only house rules I have are:

if there are youth players reading/interested in this post: you are welcome IF you can handle the game maturely and with the same amount of clout the other players put in. youngest cut off age I would say is 12 although open to discussion on case by case basis. 

any race and class is ok such as aasimars and warforged, as well as artificer and multiclassing; though things like youth dragons or giants aren't allowed. starting levels from 2-4 are granted to make sure characters aren't super squishy and have some class abilities. however, multi classing is only available from level 5 on wards.

coins do not have weight, and nor do arrows or crossbow bolts to avoid annoying loot scenarios.

homebrew item and weapon enchantment available upon new characters/purchase in-game. (starter enchants are small like +1 on weapons or +1 AC. Though characters are limited to only 1 magic item starting out.)

I have a Discord server ready and prefer it, but if need be I can go to other chat systems. Voice chat is usually how I play but I do have a webcam if so desired.
