I've played Warhammer 40K in the past. Had a blast with my friends around the table. Been having a serious itch lately for TTRPGs and thought D&D would be good to try. Been reading the books but I'm a total beginner here. Looking to learn and play. Cheers!

I'm up for my first DM slot if you're interested. I can do Wednesday and Saturday.
We would start with LMOP as a framework, adjusting according to player feedback. I am willing to DM for 4-5 players, but want a balanced team. Session 0 will be spent discussing basic social expectations as well as character building. This is DnD, not Warhammer. Please no edgelord characters or murderhobos.
I'm very much into receiving feedback after the game is done. What do you remember happening? What do you thing were the motives behind what seemed important to you? Do you have questions about a DM decision and want clarification? etc
For me, Dice are the King, but RP is the Queen. If you can break a game with good enough RP backed by rolls, we might suddenly wind up going off script in a delightful way.
I have a few homebrew rules, but nothing too wild. We will discuss in discord.
Wednesday and Saturday work for me. Sent you an invite in discord. I'm new to all of this so my expectations are just to get my feet wet and have fun. I look forward to chatting.
