About Me
Hello there, I'm Dessa, your friendly neighbourhood Trans Femme Game Master! I bring over a decade of experience to the table and a love of TTRPGs that began all the way back with DnD 3e and has since branched out to many different TTRPGS from the tactical to the narrative. Most of that time has been spent as a DM (the quintessential forever DM), so I can definitely say that I have a good feel for what it takes to run a DnD campaign.

I proudly welcome and support the LGBTQ+ community and it is my aim to have my virtual tables be a place where everyone can feel safe and comfortable with expressing themselves. As a DM I want to encourage my players creativity, to give them the space to play out their characters, and to cheer them on as they come up with the most absurd, out-of-the-box solutions to the problems they face. I’m not the adversary to my players, I’m their biggest fan!

The Campaign
This is Curse of Strahd, but not as you remember it! Venture to the lands of Barovia and come under the ever-watchful eye of Strahdia von Zarovich. It is from her domain of dread that you must escape, but you are not the first adventuring party to show up at her doorstep, and you likely won't be the last. Discover the mysteries that enshroud Barovia, avoid the malign influence of a vampire lord, and break the curse that holds these lands in perpetual terror!

🩸 Queer storytelling. Curse of Strahd reimagined with the 'She is the Ancient' supplement, giving a more prominent role to women in the story and removing much of the problematic subject matter.

🩸 A strong focus on roleplay and player agency. Explore the story at your own pace and follow the threads that interest you most.

🩸 Drama! The good kind that has the BBEG throwing flirty threats and witty insults whilst duelling the protagonists atop a rain-slicked tower.

The lands of Barovia are far more dangerous than the party could have expected and a few allies would be a much appreciated asset in these unforgiving lands!

Currently the party are level 3, having just survived the Death House and a run-in with a pair of blood-starved and greatly weakened vampires. They are made up of a:
