Session 0 has happened, next session is saturday the 13th at 10:00am GMT. We will only be starting the module in that session
Orcs are descending from the sword mountains, ousted by an even greater terror. A white dragon has claimed the snow-capped mountain range as it’s domain, patrolling the skies of the sword coast hunting and wreaking havoc as it gathers treasure for its ever growing hoard.
You venture to the town of Phandalin, the frontier town where those brave few attempt to make a living. Home to farmers, woodcutters and prospector’s searching the sword mountains for gold and platinum. Everything these settlers have is threatened as sightings and news of viscous attacks at the hands of the white dragon have become more common.

Pay to Play? Just about everybody is trying to get into a free game online, the main problem being lack of DMs to meet the demands out there. You may have to spend excessive amounts of time filing out multiple applications only to get rejected. It can also be inconsistent in regards to time and the quality of game you play with games breaking up from consistent no shows or even the DM being unprepared.
Pay to play ensures a level of investment on both sides and may provide a better playing experience as the level of maturity is typically higher. The small fee almost eliminates no shows ensuring a level of commitment by players and DM to the sessions.
About the Dungeon Master I Love D&D, getting a small group together and having a bit of banter while adventuring together creating our own unique story. I would be very easy going and my main concern is that we all have fun with some laughs along the way, so I look to cater for those battle junkies, role-players and explorers out there.
I like to create backstory encounters, interweaving it with the written material. My games are very much by the rules as written in DND but never be surprised if it turns into rules as fun. I will always allow for that creativity to flourish or that awesome hero moment where you roll a nat20 on an acrobatics check entering the room with a front-flip, through the window, drawing your sword and popping of a witty one-liner as you slice into an unaware Orc. But maybe you go for it and end up with the nat1 front-flipping through the window only to land on the rug and slide out the other end of the room into the far wall. Either way it will be a fun experience to remember.
Character Creation We begin the adventure at level 1, you can create whatever character you like for the campaign. There will never be any punishment for the group not having a certain class of character. You have total control over the character you want to create and if you need any help from me you need only ask. One thing I enjoy doing is rewarding players for a good backstory which gives myself plenty to work with in weaving it into the campaign and you get yourself a nice feat of your choice at level 1.
