I am a player looking for a d and d group.

I used to play d and d when I was a teenager (so a while back lol) and would like to get back into the game

I have played d and d online quite a bit but it is limited in how a player can use their imagination to play. 

ideally I would like to join a group of nice people of similar age bracket to play some games (25-45ish)

as I said I've not played in a while but ill catch onto rules pretty quickly. :)

I'm looking to be a player rather than a DM I have just now used the DNDBEYOND character creator tool (so should be fair and within basic rules) to create a level 1 sorcerer (and have in mind how I would develop the character for higher levels) this is the character sheet for it. https://ddb.ac/characters/44281785/cfhZfH  I have deliberately kept it low on equipment so that this can be tailored to the game the character only has the things I imagine them taking everywhere.

I would mostly like to keep this online (unless the group happens to live near Leicester in the uk) happy to use whatever media to play (zoom, discord, etc) and would ideally prefer video/voice calls as the method of playing.

I'd be free probably once a week for a couple of hours on a week night or a bit longer on weekends

with the occasional long session when I have holidays (I am a teacher so I get lots of them :) )
