I'm looking to get into D&D - specifically looking to be a DM (I also hear those are in short supply) - however, while I can make a story, the technical part of the game is outside my current understanding. I'm looking for a person or group who can help me learn. I'm open to suggestions regarding the best way to do that (jump right in and learn by doing, be a normal player first, just watch and learn, or any combination thereof)
